Caleb's decision making has been "questionable.". The reason Kmet hasn't gotten better production is because the QB doesn't throw him the ball enough. That is on the QB, not the coach. When the ball gets to Kmet (seldom) he usually makes the most of it. And, we have to be honest, we have all seen the wide open receivers in front of Caleb that he does not throw to, which has contributed to the high sack count. Additionally, his accuracy has been AWFUL on long throws. There is no other way to describe it. He is not even close a lot of the time. And even on the shorter stuff, he has been just "ok." Yes, there have been some signs of potential greatness, but I don't think he is a sure thing at this point. I felt better about it earlier in the year, but his accuracy is really troublesome. It's possible that his college style wont translate to the NFL, and he gets the YIPS and can't hit the 3 foot putts. It happens. It's a real concern.
I think it's because the line has been so bad he is seeing ghosts...like they said it is anxiety. As far as decision making i think the coaches need to tell him no more playing scared....he's way to conservative and worried about throwing picks. The coach needs to tell him to cut it loose. I don't care if he throws 3 ints every game for the rest of the season. Be aggressive.
At 6:05 he thinks it’s harsh, and that’s the problem…so many people feel that can coddle Caleb. I want him to be great but I’m not gonna act like he is above reproach. And that’s why Caleb’s body language has been speaking the way it has…unmotivated, angry, slouching etc. Caleb gotta make better decisions
@ facts. The first three division games and the Washington game I don’t blame him for. He fought against some tough teams as a rookie but this game and the 49ers game and the Arizona and patriots game he didn’t play well at all
Caleb wasn't good in college, but got away with a lot against guys who weren't NFL caliber. Now that he's facing pros, he sucks even more because his bag of tricks doesn't work. He got cocky before, during, and after the draft, and now he's learning.
Caleb is 50% the problem .He runs around and makes great plays, all good, but the regular 75% of boring throws are bad. He's missing throw 10 ft over players head, 10 ft out of bounds,uncatchable.throws.I feel you need to tell Caleb exactly what to do. Can't change plays.period.
Bears haven’t won a game since Spiegel said the Bears would make the playoffs and the Packers would fall apart. How’s it going 8 weeks later buddy? Hope those mock drafts are fun
Caleb was marketed as a “generational QB”, but in reality he’s just another USC QB. He’s another Leinart, Marinovich; decent amount of talent limited by poor decisions.
The guy is a rookie for Christ Sakes. He gets a one year waiver. His line sucks and he’s learning the NFL game. He can be judged mid next year when he has another year under his belt and a brand new OL which we know is coming.
Da Bears aren't helping the situation but at some point Williams has to take the criticism for his below average play he looks lost that's really not on coaches
Enough with this organization BS. Did the mid 2010s Lions break Matt Stafford? The Fords have owned the Lions since the 60s, I don’t hear anyone calling out the Ford family now.
Caleb was never going to make it in the NFL we were warned he had Johnny Manziel tendencies. But there is this media thing about the fingernails, the purse, etc he had such "STYLE". So since you can't go against the media narrative, his predictable failure is now being blamed on everyone including the popcorn vendor at Soldier Field. Of course none of these problems are the SLIGHTEST BIT Caleb's fault. He's so great! So it must be someone else's fault. With the media it's NEVER going to be Caleb's fault! But guess what? We took the wrong guy again, Caleb is a bust, he's not Generational! Put On The Glasses!! (they live)

The Bears keep blaming people and replacing people but the problems still exists. This has gone on for too long. They currently have some talented players (not all but many) and no matter how many coaching changes they make the failures still exist. Unless or until they fix this problem the organization will fail. Who is the leader of the Bears organization, who has to take the responsibility for what’s happening, and who’s going to fix this? Let me just suggest that the owner doesn’t let the people he hires to have the freedom and the ability to make this team successful without some restrictions. It’s like the movie ‘Ground Hogs Day’ repeating the same day over and over.
The reason they can't sit him out is because if Travis Bagent came in and actually made the offense look better it would create a huge controversy. He just has to keep taking the beatings for 3 more games.
You go from losing games against good teams close because of decisions, so the coach is gone at the end of the year because of his management skills. The down side of firing all these guys early is you end up with the worst staff in the league and now you say the QB is broken because of these firings' midseason. What is worse, frustrated because you lose several games on decision making or broken because this is the NFL with multimillion dollar coordinators who need to win to get paid and will grind an incompetent staff under their heal to do that, with the money you will not get a break or letup in the NFL.
They need to fire Poles and clean house now. Sit Caleb and let him heal. Start Bagent and let be the victim of a line which can’t handle a defensive line made up of sixth graders, wide receivers who drop more than they catch and a scheme from the 60s. Aikman went 1-13 in his first year with stats much worse than Caleb. They got him a line. He got three SB rings and is in the Hall.
