    Hi great review. Just want to know your side if you are to choose between this Air 4 pro and Engine 4 overall which one would you pick? They are around at the same right now in our country.thanks.

      Thank you for your feedback! In terms of sound, Engine 4 is far superior. In terms of microphone, both are bad. For a full package (sound + microphone) I would go for the 1more pistonbuds pro q30 or the Soundcore Liberty 4 NC.

    Still aptx, aptx hd, aptx adaptive works. Only aptx losseless doesn't work on older snapdragons

    • @LeoTechLab
      @LeoTechLab  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That's not entirely accurate. Aptx and AptxHD can work on all devices that enable software support for them, yes. But for aptx adaptive and lossless you do need a snapdragon processor on your device. Devices with other processors, such as Mediatek and Exynos, for example, do not support aptx adaptive nor aptx lossless. Even more recent snapdragon chips such as the 8 gen 1 on my galaxy tab s8+ do not support snapdragon sound, because Samsung didn't pay the licensing fees (yup, you have to pay to use the latest snapdragon codecs, unfortunately). So, even if your device does have a newer snapdragon processor, it does not guarantee you it will support aptx lossless. To be able to enjoy "snapdragon sound" you have to purchase a device with a very recent snapdragon processor in it, and ensure that the manufacturer licensed the device with the snapdragon sound codecs. That is a really bad design decision for consumers, in my opinion.

    Good video, in terms of sound quality which are better these or the liberty 4 nc?

      Thank you for your feedback! In terms of sound quality alone, both got a 7/10 from me, so I would say they are equivalent in that aspect.

    Nice review, would you recommend these over the 1more pistonbuds Pro Q30?

    • @LeoTechLab
      @LeoTechLab  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you for your feedback! No, I would recommend the 1more pistonbuds pro q30 over these, especially for the much improved mic.

      I hope you like them. They are currently my daily drivers, alongside the Soundpeats Engine 4.

    How do they compete with engine 4 in sound quality department? I have an air 4 pro so i just wanted know. ( And i also wanted to know did you used a eq preset or a custom preset when you tested the air 4 pro?) Pls reply

    • @LeoTechLab
      @LeoTechLab  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      In terms of sound quality, for me, the Engine 4's are better (you can check that in the overall Earbuds Excel spreadsheet). For soundpeats, I really like the soundpeats classic standard eq, so that's what I use in both of them.

      @@LeoTechLab Btw pop and electronic presets sound way better than the classic preset in the air 4 pro for me. You shlould try em' out. And thanks for the reply.

      @LeoTechLab  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks for the suggestion. I actually try all the presets out before selecting my favorites or creating a custom one, if necessary. For soundpeats, usually the classic does it for me, but this is always a very subjective choice👍

      @@LeoTechLab between air 4 pro and liberty 4 nc , wich one has best sound quality and anc
      And wich one best overall

    • @LeoTechLab
      @LeoTechLab  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You have the answer in my excel file, that compares all buds I've reviewed. Sound quality and ANC are very similar. The key difference for me is the microphone quality, which is much better in the Liberty 4 NC.
