No they don't matter at all, it's only if you want to see what thing the character will say to your answer.

i have a question i was playing and a traitor kill one npc and cant bring max rep .... your guide is for obtain 100% of the game and if i need restart or i can complete that rep after or ng+

If you are too far in the story (not only due to traitor but also due to other tasks) you cannot get it in this very playthrough. However you can achieve everything in ng+.
