We are instruments of God. Padre poi’s stigmata wasn’t about him, it was to help convert people into servants of God. To tell you the truth, I didn’t come up with that conclusion.. I read it from good people who wrote about him. It does make a lot sense. And the healings came from God not padre Pio. Padre Pio got upset at people, because the people who got cured from his prayers always told him that he healed them. Padre Pio rebuked them and said “God cured you It wasn’t me”. Very humble man..full of the Holy Trinity in him.

Invite God to live every moment of your life, obey to Him and abandon yourself to Him, not matter how bad the situation might look like, then you will realize your are not doing his Will but living his Will, and this is what God wanted since the beginning

I've so far read about St Padre Pio, St John Bosco, and St. Faustina, and in all, I find that these virtues of obedience and humility are greatly emphasized and these are some among many that made them Saints, continue praying for us who are still this journey of holiness.
Father pio received a photo of myself when I was about 8 years of age. Several months later I received the photo back with the phrase “bl by padre pio” all in beautiful penmanship. I have no idea who wrote this, but it is nice to think padre pio wrote it himself. I have this photo to this very day!

90% of the public would have blown a gasket if we were in Padre Pio‘s position when he was told he couldn’t perform Mass. An additional 9% would have grumbled and obeyed the order. That leaves only about 1% who would have been as humble as Padre Pio. I remember watching the autobiography of him and being upset about how he was treated. You make a very good point about humility and this is a good lesson for us all.

But God can take the smallest act - and cause a major ripple effect that cascades to hundreds of people. Something as simple as going through the Drive-Through at McDonalds, getting your meal, and SMILING BIG at the person who just handed it to you and saying something like "Thank you so much. Have a great day. And God Bless you today." That may be exactly what that person needed to hear to make their day better, or even start to change their heart! We just need to have faith. Bless you, Fr. Mike! I think humility is sometimes letting someone else be honored or recognized above us. An insecure arrogant person wants to be on top, above others. I think humility is being quiet when someone is honored or elevated above us, esp. if that person is objectively LESS qualified than we are. When we really know how much God and others love us, we don't really feel the urge to be seen as the top dog. I recall when a pro baseball player broke some record several years ago with the help of performance-enhancing drugs. He did NOT deserve honor because he relied on drugs, but the prior record holder was very gracious and humble by saying he would "step aside" to let this young (cheating) player be the new record holder.

I want to learn as much as I can about Padre Pio. I've only heard OF him for a couple years NOW. But lately, he's been "showing up" in my life a LOT! Almost like he's following me around, and wants us to be friends! And I'm not even Catholic! I'm Eastern Orthodox, so I understand Saints, and our relationship with them, since the Orthodox and Catholic churches have similar understandings. But, what surprises me is that out of "nowhere" Padre Pio seems to be pursuing me, and no doubt interfering for me. Please pray for me.

I want to learn as much as I can about Padre Pio. I've only heard OF him for a couple years NOW. But lately, he's been "showing up" in my life a LOT! Almost like he's following me around, and wants us to be friends! And I'm not even Catholic! I'm Eastern Orthodox, so I understand Saints, and our relationship with them, since the Orthodox and Catholic churches have similar understandings. But, what surprises me is that out of "nowhere" Padre Pio seems to be pursuing me, and no doubt interfering for me. Please pray for me.
When I told my dream of him to my doctor, the next time I saw her, she said to me "that day when you left another lady told me she had a dream about him, but she didn't know who he was because she was orthodox, he told her his name

For me, it’s an even greater blessing of obedience & humility without anyone’s notice! I have peace. No one is trying to tempt or doubt or test or insult. I have said, Gods Saints are often invisible to the world. Thank God. Padre was brave, had courage & patience. Not all of us are so extraordinarily graced. If Heaven is a garden I’ll settle for the tiny insignificant flower. My eyes will see God and that’s all I want.

Padre Pio brought me back to the true faith,l heard an interview with an author on the radio about his new book on Padre Pio on the 25th of September last year and since that interview l have bought every book and read every article about him that l can find and now am back in the church.l am going to be a Padre Pio Expert and l pray the rosary full 10 times a day in latin just as he would have,its incredible, Padre Pios Rosary record in a day is 34! so it will be a long time before l reach that level.
Padre Pio warned about Vatican corruption and said he was glad he was going to die soon, he never participiated in a vatican 2 mass which is likely apostasy, look into trying to find a valid priest who isn't novus ordo

I loooove Padre Pio. I watched a 4 hour movie about him. All the women cringed to him and with good reason. I think he healed me when I found that video. I think he wanted me to know that he understood how I felt.

It is interesting to note that Padre Pio had also been accused of sexual and financial inpropriety. He suffered suspicion and sanction in humble, loving silence and tears for years before being proven innocent. A Saint of our time.
Sebastian Yoon Padre Pio was a powerful man of God. Satan targets his warriors with slander and anything he can to destroy them. Padre Pio had no finances and owned nothing so that makes that slander ridiculous. Sexual sin from a saint like that is also absurd..... nobody would believe such stupidity. You need to understand Satan and how he works to destroy God and his saints.

I highly recommend to ask Saint Pio to pray with you, I was visiting someone sick and I asked him to help me pray and they did get well. I highly recommend reading about saints, Saint Bernard of Clairveaux is very nice and Saint Pio
