I love that these brothers can disagree about an issue as important as baptism but still share the same stage and tease one another in love

Agreed! That we need more French language resources from Ligonier and Calvins Institutes of Christian Religion, ironically, first grabbed my attention in English for its excellent clarity and unambiguous terms. This work by persons fluent in both languages can appreciate this and some faithful French translators are needed. I am turning to Ligonier more deliberately than Amazon when I have a choice on audiobook, and e-book so Ligonier can benefit and provide more to those with little (or zero) money to spend on Scriptural teaching. Thank you!!

Can I put my name as young christian (37) after big God theology? I like biblically strong and accurate theology and I have found GTY, Ligonier, Lawson, Challies, Begg et al and am being blessed and fed greatly.
May God bless the ministries & lives of these folks.

Not one comment on building ourselves up 'on our most holy faith'! As long as a 'sinning faith' is taught, an 'overcoming faith' will not be taught, and loophole theology will continue! JUDE 1:1 is mentioned, while JUDE 1:24 is never mentioned. (#679 in Strong's is used only once in Scripture...does any one agree with Strong's definition?????)

Although I deeply desire that doctrine, of infant salvation,to be true it seems, to me, to imply that works (choice) become neccissary for salvation when we are old enough to understand.

No infant who dies goes to hell. There shouldn't even be a question about that.

@@libahopeson1296because you are saying a just God creates for the purpose of torturing. Yes He is the creator and can do as He pleases. To create, deny life, only to send to hell? Explain the justice and holiness in that.

On Forgiveness: We are to be like YHWH/The LORD, Conformed {n Conforming} to †he Image of CHRIST, and HE Forgives only those who repent; as it Is Written, as many times as your Brother comes to you and repents, forgive him. Thus Saith The LORD GOD ALMIGHTY: YHWH In YESHUA Said to HIS Disciples, “Temptations to sin are sure to come, but woe to the one through whom they come! It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were cast into the sea than that he should cause one of these little ones to sin. Pay attention to yourselves! If Your Brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him, and if he sins against you seven times in the day, and turns to you seven times, saying, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive him.”
For within the measure you use to judge, it shall be measure back to you -- 7-fold if The LORD Pleases --
And if you do not forgive your Brother, your FATHER in Heaven will not Forgive you either.

So children murdered by abortion go to hell because they are the offspring of unsaved sinners? But the aborted children of the saved go to heaven? This what comes into my head when men talk about what happens to children when they die. What about all the people who became believers despite who their parents were? This seems to be one of those examples of church raised people thinking somehow their offspring is more special. I wish someone would think and explain better.

When Paul says men with man he's describing what you see on stage. People who deny what is natural and have vain imaginations.

    • @2timothy23

Dan, if you're talking about Romans 1:27, that is not the context of men with man. The verse tells us that man left the natural use of the woman, men with men working what is unseemingly. The Greek word for unseemingly is aschemosune, which means indecent or shameful. Notice the context? Men with men doing something indecent and shameful because they left what was natural with women and trading it for something that is not. That is why the verse ends with saying the men doing so will receive the recompence (the Greek word means requital or compensation) of their error (the error was leaving women for men). In other words, these men practicing this sexual act with men will get what they deserve because there is a consequence for disobeying the natural order that God has set forth from the beginning in Genesis 1:24.
So if you're trying to interpret Paul's writing in Romans 1:27 the way you just did, it is incorrect logically, contextually, grammatically, and more importantly, biblically.
