@@doommonger7784exactly!!!! This girl can def play for sure. Work on not making double faults and she will be a nice player to watch this season unless she disappears the whole season 😂😂
Well no question Jodie Burrage tested Guaff today 🙂👏👏👏👏👏♥️ Should have taken that 2nd set but guess the moment just got to her hopefully she will do better in those moments in the future
Agree, Burrage has the drop shot but needs more variety, hitting the ball hard consistently doing so only a select few in history have won consistently.
@@marcusgraham5084 mentally tough? Oh okay that's why the other girl fell apart w those double faults and errors! 😂😂😂 Miss Coco got lucky for sure to escape
Yes Coco keeping digging deep, that's what champions do. I watched Andreeva match and she was almost knocked out but she dug deep and won. Best of luck with Leylah you've done it before you can do it again.
That loss is either going to mentally hunt and be her only defining moment or she will put it out of her mind, move on and accept she was beaten by a better player.
After two years of continual joint and wrist injury JB (who I don’t think has ever been in the top 100) should be over the moon with that performance today.
Coco needs to keep that power forehand she had against Swiatek at the United Cup going, looked too floaty again today and it’ll really hamper her if she can’t get it going again
Burrage hitting the cover off the ball, only a very few can win consistently with that approach but she is not among them. She has the drop shot but needs more variety.
I hope Coco Gauff rediscovers the form that she had in the United Cup tournament. The way she is playing right now in the Australian Open is not emough to win and it would be so disappointing if she fails to win this tournament given the great form she had prior to it.
Coco kinda late in switching coaches (coulda won more tourneys had she made the change sooner) but it has payed off-her forehand now penetrates deep and her serve has improved.
Why do players sometimes apologize when the ball hits the net and goes somewhere and their opponent misses it? they raise their hand as if to say, sorry, i didn't mean that - but they win the point?
Oh this was a good early match up. The competition is stiff. Coco played good not her best. Burrage amazed me, if she hit many of those balls over the net she could have won a set.
Coco’s movement was a little better than the opening round. It also looks like she might have swapped out the shoe she wore in round one. Still looks like the shoe is giving her problems when she moves forward. Seems like there’s too much grip in the shoe and she isn’t able to slide like she typically likes to. I hope the fix this. It’s throwing off the rest of her game to be hitting so many shots off balance.
The way Coco raised the Game when she was 5-3 down in the 2nd set is just amazing. champs always find the way to come back
More like Burrage fell to pieces with a load of errors and double faults when serving for the 2nd set
@@doommonger7784 a win is a win. Coco has also thrown matches with errors such is a tennis match as long as you produce the result.
Raised her game? 😂😂😂 depending on the other girl committing errors and double faults doesn't count as this 'fake raised her game bs'' 😂😂😂

@23Echeo Just you doubt CoCo.

She is not Serena or Venus at all ,second says lot
She beat Iga, so the future is bright. That No 1 spot isn’t too far away👊🏿👊🏿

Is it me or the commentators was rooting for burage 😊

Coco(COCO GAUFF 3.0)played smart, mentally tough tennis.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

She really did I was expecting a lesser scoreline but hey a win is a win. 😄
Hope she learns to take what’s offered to her. Otherwise, she’ll learn the taste of dust….👊🏿👊🏿👊🏿 #Platter

I have never watched Jodie before play. She is a great talent. She needs to work on her forehand.

Keep up the good work, young lady! Thanks, Mom and Dad for sharing this great talent with the world. Go Coco!
Thank you for the highlights! Lovely animals, by the way. Please take care of them. 😅❤
Imagine getting Coco in the second round! Burrage has potential, someone to follow.
That loss is either going to mentally hunt and be her only defining moment or she will put it out of her mind, move on and accept she was beaten by a better player.
Haunt, not hunt. Doubt it will "haunt" her for long, if at all. She's a professional. She'll learn from this and bounce back quickly, no doubt.
After two years of continual joint and wrist injury JB (who I don’t think has ever been in the top 100) should be over the moon with that performance today.
My cocomelon, I'm so proud of her❤❤
😂Coco my dear going forward you got to cut out those mistakes good win

You always come tops.🎉🎉 Congrats Coco keep fighting, this time you will take it home. Weldonewoo❤❤❤❤🎉

They show off too early with the aces and then you act surprised when coco wins

She has Osaka wait for her in the 3rd round. She has to really raise her game if she wants to win the tournament.
Nope.🎾.. Fernandez...she may play Osaka if they both make it too SF
Previously Coco beat Jodie 6:16:1 . Now she beat her 6:3 7:5. So who has raised their game the most?
Not enough to win a set.
Congrats Coco. You had to fight for this one especially the 2nd set. Forehand looking good. Clean up those pesky dfs please. ❤️
Yeah, but under Brad she was averaging 12 or more.
Coco kinda late in switching coaches (coulda won more tourneys had she made the change sooner) but it has payed off-her forehand now penetrates deep and her serve has improved.
Boy they cut that short since CoCo won
They were betting hard on another upset

Who was that female announcer? The only time she said anything is whan Burrage scored.
Oh this was a good early match up. The competition is stiff. Coco played good not her best. Burrage amazed me, if she hit many of those balls over the net she could have won a set.
the chickens after tho...
Jodie was terrible and she looks like she is carrying few too many pounds. Coco needs to improve if she is going to win .

Change outfits too match shoes, your theory has nothing too do 🤔 with her performance....😂🤣
Worst match but cover maximum game
💞🦾👍 > WOW > GOOD WIN >>>> ( COCO )🎉🎉
