- Hey everyone! In todays video I show you how I take notes on my iPad 2018 for university. Taking notes on my iPad has totally changed my study routine and makes taking notes slightly more enjoyable.

Having a tight budget, i can only afford to buy a regular ipad, not air or pro. But the un-laminated screen the paralax really make me hold that thought. But after i watch this video, im convinced that a regular ipad is more than enough for my needs. Thank you sweetie.
I've had my Ipad 7 for a while and it works so well! I feel like the Pro and Air only really give a bigger screen and a little bit more saturation to the colour, but if you don't mind that then don't bother buying the more expensive one! Since the apple 1 gen is kind of awkward to hold, get a grip and a paper-like screen protector, works wonders!!
I’m using iPads at my school all the time! Everyone is it’s required for most things and online days! I’m getting one in two days for music studies becuase we use it and right so much! Thank you I will start using this.

i loved the video, also i’m also still sticking with goodnotes 4 because i prefer th design i don’t really like the super modern goodnotes 5 and it doesn’t have many extra features so there’s not much point switching.
If only they allowed gadgets at my school I wouldn’t need to buy those expensive notebooks 😹😹

Someone doing psychology just like me and taking notes digitally like me. Saw DSM 5 and go ‘Familiar term!’ I prefer notability though, as I find it a tad bit more user friendly. Your case is also almost exactly the same as my previous iPad’s case, but mine’s the pro version so just a wee different. Like your videos! Just on a random note, could you do a makeup tutorial for glasses? Really like your makeup.

I have the iPad and trust me when I say, for note taking its good but not the best because there is a screen gap from the glass
If you don’t have the money to spend on the iPad Air 3 or the refurbished iPad Pro 2017, I’ll say that the iPad 2018 it’s a great choice. I have one for college and it’s amazing but I think that 32Gb it’s too short because of the apps storage.
I have the ipad 2018 with 128 gb and have already used over 32 gb and only use it for school, so I think it’s best to go for the 128 gb model
Aleja Salcedo the Apple pen only works on iPad 6. I would say just get a regular stylus but no. It’s not gonna be enjoyable to realistic to take notes with anything other then the Apple pen.

I do have ipadpro but for me reading or studing from screen does not work...ifeel more concentrated on paper notes..is it only me who thinks like that.?
Nope. I'm unable to revise an essay on a screen. I print a copy, use ink to make changes, then revise on screen. You gotta do what's best for you!
Me too. I print them out so I can study better. Probably because I get easily distracted with the device. Also, studying with it hurts my eyes so...
I’m the opposite I pay more attention and find it more interesting on the iPad (I have a 7th generation) but the best thing will be to find the best way to learn for you

I'm SOOOOO tempted to get the iPad AIR... JUST because it has the doubletap to erase feature on the apple pencil 2nd Gen (I make a lot of mistakes)... Do/did you find that it was hard, or not that much of a concern to switch between pen and eraser, using the Apple Pencil 1? I'm trying to decide what to get... Thanks!!!

Chielon Abalos Based upon my research the iPad pro is a more power device. If you will only be using it for media and school note taking versus video editing and music the iPad 6th generation 9.7 would do great. That is much cheaper than the iPad Air 3rd generation and the iPad pros lineup.

For my last semester I honestly didn’t use paper at all. However, for my next year of uni I might start printing out my notes and doing some handwritten notes as i do think that nothing can beat having all your notes in a folder.

You can manage with the 32gb? It makes me nervous. Usually stick to the 64gb but I don’t want to spend the extra hundred if I don't have to.
I’m a PhD student and I manage fine with 32 gb. One thing that helped was offloading stock apps you don’t use. But other than that since I mostly do note taking, which all that data is stored in the app, and I watch things. Have a few productivity apps. I have 9 gb left and that’s with downloading random apps I thought I would use but I didn’t.
What helps me is that I've made the iPad only for educational purposes in order to limit distractions and save space. I imagine that if you have all your typical apps etc. then it may be a bit difficult.
Honestly I have the iPad 2018 32GB & I have quite a lot of apps but only used 17GB so far...

How many gigabytes have you used? I’m looking into whether I should purchase the 32gb or 128gb for just $100 more. I will mainly be using this iPad for note taking and I have never owned an iPad so I’m just wondering how many gigabytes I will need. :)
I have the 32gb model. That doesn’t bother me because I back up all of my notes onto google drive and I use it only for uni work.
The 128gb model does seem to be a lot better for people. I guess it comes down to whether or not you want to pay £100 more and if you will actually use the storage. It does give you a lot more freedom and you won’t have to worry about storage which is good.

can you fit the pencil with the grip into the case?
Nope, it doesn’t fit in. The grip has a magnetic strip so I either attach it to the front of the iPad or take the grip off so that it can fit into the case.
does your Apple Pencil fit in the case with that grip on it ?
With the grip it doesn’t fit into the case. I either take the grip off or attach the pencil to the iPad case because the grip has a magnet built into it.

Hi I'm currently studying economics degree in Spain and I was thinking on buying an iPad for academic productivity, taking proper notes and in general only for university. My question is which one should I buy the 32GB or the 128GB (including obviously the Apple pen)?
Jose Rubio I have the 32gb tbh it’s not enough (I got it yesterday) already consumed half of the storage for my books and lectures for med school. But a cheaper option would to get an OTG for extra memory which cheaper than getting the 128gb one

I am really hesitating between a MacBook Pro 13 inch but the most powerful model and a MacBook Pro ( the cheapest one)+ IPad 2018
I like to take handwritten notes but I want to have all of my notes on a cloud hence the combination of both.
Is it really necessary to have an iPad 2018 and is it worth your money ? (It is not the most expensive one but I’d rather invest in a good MacBook rather than in a tablet that won’t work in 3 years)

I’d definitely say go for the laptop. There are still certain tasks that you’ll need a laptop for. Part of me does regret buying an iPad as I don’t think that it was 100% worth it for me personally. Yes it’s a great product, but unless you have the extra cash to splurge then a laptop is the better choice. An iPad has actually made me realise that I like writing on paper a lot more. I can concentrate for longer periods of time when using paper etc.

How did you get your lecture next to your notes on the app?
I go onto my universities virtual learning platform on safari. Then all you have to do is swipe up and drag another application in (goodnotes). It’s the split screen feature on the iPad

Cloud Sky if you don’t have a laptop i would say that. There are some things you can’t do on the iPad and I see it more as a companion to a computer

It can connect ssd now. Also make use of onenote, google drive, icloud, for each subject.

Ipad 9.7’ 2018 doesn’t have a laminated screen...Isn’t it a much of a problem when taking notes??? Or does the gap between the pencil and the screen annoys anyone?!🤔🤔.

If you work a lot with word, excel, pen drives, etc. I don’t recommend you to swap but if you wanna take notes or do some design I think is worth it.

Christian Herz I highly recommend you to use google drive for uploading documents, or others apps where you can upload documents/notes online
