Deborah Sutphen Katy Perry hasn't been beautiful since her chained to the rhythm video. She is bald now except for when she looked gorgeous with that fake hair on the Disney night of American idol. When she actually has HAIR she is beautiful as long as her hair is a natural looking color and not some off the wall unnatural color like pink or blue. Blonde or brunette are her best colors
So happy for Carrie she's one hell of country singer her voice is so strong and so real when you hear her live not like a lot of artists who their voice is terrible you can't even believe that you listen to them

Like I said before, music industry doesn't give a crap about any reality TV singing competition. Carrie is the exception to that. Because Carrie is just that good. Country music tried everything possible to stop Carrie from getting into country music, but couldn't, because Carrie is that good.
Carrie actually changed country music conception of American Idol. Country music didn't think any contestant would have an impact on country music. Carrie completely changed that perception with a bang. Now, they don't singers from Idol lightly anymore. Of course, most singers don't have the impact that Carrie did.
I think in an odd way. Carrie turned Idol into a real avenue for artists. Before Carrie, everybody thought of Idol as a simple pop contest. Carrie turned into a really singing show. Where if you are a real singer you will have a career.
