- This is a video guide to replacing all or one of the following on a Passat 3C model: Mirror glass, painted cap, inner casing, indicator repeater lamp.
Just be really careful when removing and/or refitting the mirror glass - it's just so easy to break them :(

Thanks for the video. I replaced the indicator LED on my Passat today from watching this video. It took me about 30 mins to get the job done. Thanks again.
Thanks for the video. I used it to replace both turn signal lights and one mirror glass. The instructions were great. Make sure you have a T10 Torx screw driver before you begin tho. I didn't have one and had to buy it in addition to the parts.
Thanks for a video, was really helpful, i did change my indicator and with Your guide was easy! Well done ;)
Wow this video helped a lot. I love the step by step detail. 8 have a 2005 vw jetta and it worked flawlessly. Maybe you can two me how to change a camshaft sensor for my specific car

I presume it's ok to not remove the mirror glass if I'm just looking to replace the indicator repeater? Can the outer cover be removed without going removing the glass & heating element?
i've got some moss build-up in the indicator part of the mirror, does anyone have a clue to clean this bit without taking the entire mirror apart?
