"I give to you" is truly my favourite track from the album "Ebbhead". In my mind, this album was NE's third album in a row (Belief 1989, Showtime 1990) to hit my jackpott! "Belief" made me fall in love with NE and the sound that was theirs. Only theirs... 🌹 Thank you So Much, guys, for all you and your music did for me during the 80's and 90's! You f***ing saved my life back then!!
There is NO other track in all of music history to combine the elements in this track. It is utterly unique in its tone and individual style. Perfection.
Alan Wilder took the arrangements to Depeche Mode's Rush. listen and you hear Rush. it's very very obvious. the basslines are identical and several sounds are used in Rush too.

They followed DM on their Violation tour in the US in 1990, and in 2010. There is a strong relationship between members of both band music and a long time of collaboration. So before being disrespectful, just seek information.
I think you need a deaf person to find someone thinking that the basslines are identical. They don't even follow the same note pattern. On the other side, I have the suspicion Alan sampled the orchestral elements in I Give to You for his track Chrome. And I doubt Nitzer Ebb got pissed off for that one, since they are into sampling too.
Balaclava is a garment you put your face in. Baklava is a dessert you put in your face. (Balaklava in western Crimea is a coastal town. It's nowhere near a desert, but I still wouldn't suggest trying to put your face in it while there's a war on.)

That man is a fine guy but the performance here is a bit over the top imo. Tossing and turning in the mud while wearing cycling tights - lol. But nevertheless one of my favourite songs ;)
This video could have been a lot better if their frontman had been buff. I mean, really, look at this cool staging overall, but the singer makes such a wimpish appearance. If you want to make macho stuff, go the whole way. Good song, though.
