- IT’S CHRISTMASSSSSSSSSSS. Happy 1st December guys, to kick off the festivities we are taking you to Bruges in Belgium to experience our very FIRST European Christmas market with you. Are they over-rated? Or are they really as magical as people say. We decided the best way to score these markets would be to set ourselves a CHALLENGE. Everyone loves a challenge right. We are Chris & Sam also known as The Travel Duo for our love of travel & adventure. Loved this! As the weather gets warmer here we're missing the cosy Christmas vibes! Bruges is one of our favourite cities, we were a little too early to see the Christmas market so was lovely to see it through your eyes. Not sure of your route but Cologne Christmas market in Germany was insane. There's multiple markets in the same city, all have slightly different vibes. And when we went there was a park up right on the river (It was in 2019 so not sure if it's still there). Looking forward to the next one guys. And I have to agree with Sam, the highlight was definitely those hats 🎅❤

Brilliant video, looking for christmas market inspiration and so glad i found you guys. Cant wait to go to belgium now. Did you find it hard to get a park up in bruges? im worried the aire will be full and i havent a clue where we can park our 7 metre motorhome.
Thank you! You'll love Bruges 😍 we parked up absolutely fine, lots of street parking around & just a short walk into town. Our van is around 6.8 metres long 🙂
Just came back today from Bruges market today, and to perfectly honest i didn’t think it was all that, not much there only a few mobile stands selling food, have been to better markets in France. Overhaul the shops around the market are fantastic especially the Chocolate shops and the beautiful buildings as you walk around, the people are super friendly and if you love Beer your in for a treat , according to a barmen in a nearby pub every beer has its own glass, Amazing but don’t believe the hype about the Market ❤

We hope you had a great time in Bruges, it's a beautiful city isn't it 😃 this was our very first European Christmas market on our tour around Europe & we loved it 😍 but after travelling around all different markets we realised it was much smaller than most. We would definitely return though as Bruges is a gorgeous place to explore 😃
7 Euros for a sausage.....Fletch wins treat of the day for sure! Certainly very Christmassy there now....... on to the next one.

You should have done the light-show walk around bruges, it ends at the 'minnewaterpark' where there is an ice skating ring and a bar with drinks and food (vegan food as well)
