I did a research and found out, that top universities like Oxford and Cambridge require you to have at least 6.5. So with that been said do I really need to aim for 7?
We totally concur with the following points: 1. If your basics of English are sound then you can prepare on your own and can appear in the test after few days of preparation. However, we highly recommend that prepare for at least a week and track your performance properly and please do not rush into filling the exam because it is an expensive exam. If you are completely confident and satisfied with your performance in daily mock tests only then fill the test. 2. Computer based exam really help those students whose writing is illegible because if words are not clear the marks can be deducted in your paper based writing which is not an issue in computer based. Hence students with poor handwriting and good typing speed should go for computer based IELTS. 3. In listening the biggest problem for non-native English students is get accustomed to the accent of the audio. So it is recommended that students should listen to channels like BBC so that they get used to the British accent and know how they pronounce different words. For example sometimes 0 is pronounced as O or naught. So it is important that you are aware of such intricacies. Sometimes Z (Zed) is pronounced as Zee. Also make sure that you differentiate properly between numbers like 13 and 30, 14 and 40 it is very common to mix these numbers.

These videos will not only give you tips for betterment but also show the potential mistakes we normally make. I suggest you make a list of a few strong words you can use in writing and speaking. At least, this is what worked for me!

There are so many tips to score good but honestly if you don't see it yourself it doesnt help much, so go through the tips,apply them and then see which serves you the best. About answering the questions,,if the answer is not there directly,,but by reading the task I can understand & guess what the ans might be should I give correct or wrong to them or not given .

Practice makes perfect😄👍. I think you should pay attention to all sections and parts of each sections. Reading articles which are based on science are really helpfull. You can grow your academic vocabulary and learn some specific things.(sorry if i am late🥺)

Hi Asiya In reading , normally I have practiced my self to highlight the important words and phrases by pen, which will help me to find out the answer fast. My question about computer base exam, might I face problem in reading to find the answer? I know that I can highlight words also in computer but I am worried that maybe it will not work with me same as in paper base . Thanks
Hi Omar, for me personally it is a bit easier to navigate on paper but it is not a big difference. Try doing some computer-based tasks at home to see. You can find the link in the 5-step study plan in the description. Just to add, I definitely prefer computer-based Writing!
