I visited and stayed among the chinese for two weeks. One thing I noticed about them is their great love for children. They are very tender towards them, even to stranger's kids on the bullet train.
there are many good and kind-hearted people in this world. they don't get much coverage in mainstream media so these videos are a breath of fresh air. keep it up and thank you!
Very interesting to see how people are curious but not rude. The woman seemed genuinely interested in caring for the little people. I like what I saw and you showed and the best part is that you were speaking the language and that seems to take down the walls and make people want to approach you keep posting these videos so that people can see that the Chinese people are friendly, and are open to interacting with people who are not from the country.
I'm so happy that I live in a diverse nation and have met people from all types of ethnic backgrounds and different skin tone shades. It's like the people living in these nations are cut off from the rest of the planet. If we were in the 17th century this would make sense but we are 2024.
This is a small city in China, Qitaihe. Those 7-story residential buildings don't have to build elevators. Any taller buildings are required to have elevators.
Thanks. You gave us a great glimpse into China. You are beautiful and charming. It seems the people are friendly and welcoming and excited and curious. Your fabulous babies were a great hit.
she is gross . name any society you let your children get touch-up by random street people? you do not do that. she does respect her kid. She just want views for her youtube channel. like "im black in china is not played out already?"
Yh u do A lot of places in Africa Haven't seen white ,light skinned or asian people before. They're enthusiastic and innocent with good intention. You're too sensitive.
@lolmfs Bro I have seen a white kid or a Chinese kid before but that doesn't mean that I will be touching that kid like a doll it makes no sense don't try and justify it
perfect okugbo, I'm with you on that. It's so odd. I understand that they haven't physically seen Black people before but my goodness, they have social media and see Black that way. I remember the first time I saw an Asian person, I was not shocked, no interest in touching them. I realize they are just people just like me. Even though I had never seen an Asian person before.
@@lolmfs Where...what places in Africa haven't seen a white man, Asian, or a person with light skin before? Africa is a highly diverse continent. And China has been doing business with different African nations for a while now which has led to a lot of Chinese going there. No one rub Asians skin, touch their hair and take pictures with them like they are some sort of Disney fantasy mascot.
I feel bad for almost everyone in this video. The children look terrified of black people, the adults seem to not understand different skin colors, and she has to grin and be non threatening while letting people touch her children 😢
Thank you for saying this. I thought it was just me. Whether they had pure intentions or not, letting strangers come up and pet children as if they are animals is weird to me. Like they are not a novelty they are human children and these are literal strangers on the street, could have all kinds of germs or anything. And then that watermelon vendor who was giving Mom weird looks at first, wouldn’t even really look at her as a paying customer or answer her questions but then rushed across the street to touch and smile in her kids face like, nah couldn’t be me. Keep the same energy you had for me with my kids and back tf up.
They do not know about the skin color ,thats a fact. this is probably the first time for them to see a black skin baby a black skin kid and a woman. what do you expect for them? Acting seeing nothing at all? The curious shows everything. thats the animal instinct. That's not a shame thing. There are tons of black skin vlogger in China. They don't feel bad, what makes you feel bad?
Seems like the ordinary folks on the streets in China, especially the older generation do not have much idea about Africa, who probably thought that Africa was a country and not a continent. I guess the older generation in those days probably received very basic education and did not understand much about Africa. It's good that you brought Zimbabwe to China, almost like you are an ambassador of Zimbabwe to China, representing the African continent. I didn't have much chance to visit Africa and learn about the African culture or food.
That little chinese child was stepping back! Never knew other humans existed apart from them? Poor thing! Maybe her parents never told her.and i bet they don't have TV
As an American, we’re all very used to people from countries all over the world. It’s interesting to see Africans living in China as opposed to western countries. Especially Chinese and Asians, every city in the country has Asian immigrants. Those who speak English well aren’t even considered foreigners. The same goes for Africans.
I'm not so sure. In China, a common greeting is to say something obvious in question form when you see someone. Like you see someone at the store with clothes in their hand about to check out, "Are you shopping?" even though the answer is obviously yes. Or if someone is eating at a restaurant, "Are you eating here?" It's not that they're really asking. It's a native greeting. I bet these people didn't know the "English" way to greet is to say, "How are you?" It seems that natives rarely ask such questions to each other as a form of greeting. They might think you're really asking and find you rude, not realizing there is no expectation of a real answer if you ask how they've been.
You have to realize the cultural shock they are in. Its not like in the west where they are aware of the stigmas and still do it. They are generally intrigued and dont get to see it often
This is 2024, not 1964. They have phones, maybe limited access to the outside, however this is weird to be so surprised of black skin in this day and age.
This is insane in sorry At the end of the day, this is an innocent baby. It's not about color but come on. Never would anybody let all these people touch their baby and that child can become sick. As a white woman with 2 black children I adopted. I wouldn't even let my family members do this, especially when they were newborns. Think people think that all chinese people are good until something happens to your child and you regret it forever.
I wasn't feeling the vendor. He was making me feel very uneasy with her older son😳 The way he was pulling him across the street was giving me anxiety. Maybe I don't understand the culture

You’re good cause no one would be touching my child like that, no matter how friendly they are!!
fr like a girk started wipping her hand after touching the baby like friendly but still racist
I noticed that too. I wonder are they really being nice. Because I don't think so.
@s-4086 its not really her fault black people in china are really rare
The girl wiped her hand after touching the baby's hair. Don't allow those people to touch all over your child.

Well they never should have genocide the indigenous blacks in China.
