Despite being alone you still found some very nice finds. But I understand what you’re saying about having someone else to share the excitement of a good find. 🍻💎🎄

OK....this is what I've picked up re chalcedony vs carnelian....basically the same thing, just that the carnelian has been exposed to the iron in the waters and picked up the red colour.
So, if you are looking for red, go down stream not up....

Hey Green as, why downstream not up though? It appears all these pieces are being washed out of old river beds that used to be here

Hi mate, some nice pieces for the day. It appeared that you were finding more chalcedony in the second spot with a few nice carnelian pieces there as well.I wasn’t quite sure if the first location you were at, was upstream or downstream from the spot you visited with Ashley. I like that pinkish red piece on host rock, it certainly catches the eye. Looks like a good day on the creek. Keep Safe
PS. Have a great Christmas & New Year.

Thanks silverback. The first bit of the video I was upstream a few km. Wasn’t finding all that much but that one patch of a few in the beginning.
Thank you and you have a great Christmas and New year also :)

Love the fact you have the sounds of footsteps, the river and the bush....not crappy music! Happy Christmas.
