Even my kids have played VPW2 and they are 15 & 13.
To be fair it was Japanese only, you had to import it and a lot of gamers didn't even know imports were a thing back in the 90s.

If the AEW game is half as good VPW2, I'm pre-ordering it. I'm not expecting much from a first effort but with VPW2's director (along with Revenge, WM2000, No Mercy, Def Jam Vendetta among other AKI classics under his belt) Hideyuki Iwashita aka Geta-san on board, I expect some solid, fun, and direct gameplay with innate controls without a lot of the mini-games, mid-match OMG moment-style cutscenes, QTEs, mini-games interrupting gameplay or ability limitations!
