@@gothclown9013 ugh.. I remember when only the previous games were out, even people who didn't play the Sims knew about kitchens catching fire all the time and sims dying in pools. My TS4 sims never even get electrocuted when repairing objects!! There's never any suspense or risk. It's like they've made the game so it's suitable for 5 year olds

I love how it started out easy and they just take care of themselves then suddenly they do bad in school and all hell breaks loose lmao
I still remember my very first time playing The Sims 2... I was about 8 years old and OBSESSED with Avatar so my first ever sims were Katara, Sokka and their dad. Moved them into a house, bought them a huge aquarium (because water benders), didn't have a fridge. Both the teenagers got acne and everyone got increasingly hungry, I made them drink water from the sink to keep it at bay for a while but eventually they all died.
When you're 8 and don't know where food comes from 😂

Sims 4 was built with greed and they still havent learned what we actually want. Especially since they have thought about making sims 5 online

Actually, people DO want an online aspect. Shown by deli and james playing together and how much people want a functional vanilla version instead of a mod that is painfully hard to set up. People want online, just a version that can be turned off. Sims 5 will only have a small aspect of online, the rest will be single player. People are making a big deal out of a very small thing.
@@RowanWolf22 of course people would like that. The issue is tried to make that the main game. Thats what happened with sims 4, they tried to make it online but scrapped it at the last second because their testers hated it

@@athinam.4593 Teeside I think but she's from Middlesbrough so I'm not sure. From West Yorkshire myself and I cringe when I hear my own accent on TV/social media whereas Jesse's from North Yorkshire I think and hers is somewhat different but I can hear similarities like when I say 'hear/here' I don't pronounce the H and it sounds more like 'ee-uh' basically the same as how Jesse says it.

15:30 I consider grown up toddlers and one Sim alive a success. However, I feel like you should have put all possible Sims into the work and you should have hired a maid and a baby-sitter. Also you forgot to sell all the toddlers stuff - cause then you probably would be able to buy two beds instead of one. Oh and major trick to avoid burning your whole house, would be to not have any type of oven. Snacking and salads are the basic food they all need.

watching this honestly made me sad, this game came out years before the sims 4 and it’s got so many things the sims 4 hasn’t. it’s got challenge, actual family and baby gameplay and it’s fun. you really see how much the sims 4 is lacking and it’s really disappointing, i hope there’s a change soon

The compliment Assassin It was ridiculously easy to lose your kids... when I first played it took me forever to actually get a child to a teenager. Let alone losing your job at random when you finally got enough skills and friends for a promotion only to choose the wrong arbitrary answer to a work event. Game was savage and amazing and difficult and a joy when you succeeded.

I miss the challenge of never quite having enough money for what you want, of NEEDING to go to work in a good mood everyday to build that new bed because your toddler grew up sooner than you expected and now the family are sleeping in shifts, of paying careful attention to their wants and fears every morning because the one time you didn’t when daddy sim changed the nappy of his kid he had a mental breakdown, missed work and the repo man came causing mammy to have a mental breakdown.
