The Cardinals trading Arenado is not only to clear payroll. Its to open 3rd for Gorman ... Maybe if the Sox took Arenado and Matz for Yoshida and a prospect ... that would save the Cardinals 31 mil
MN's financial situation has resolved so there's no need to move Vasquez, if anyone wants Correa or Lopez you're gonna pay in prospects. As of right now Jeffers is the more likely to get traded after Cartaya was traded for and Carmargo being ready to be brought up from triple-A.
No one is trading for Stroman, hes regressed for three straight years and has a 18.5 vesting option if Stroman pitchs 140 innings (37 million in total). NyY couid trade for Correa and include Stroman in the package but it will also cost Volpe, Jones and warren.
Stroman for Baez. That's the kind of deal you get at that price point. Maybe bring back Montgomery, but even then... Complete scenery change types that no one expects to really work out.
@@eshep71no one is taking on stroman's 37 million (including player option) without significant return, it's the same issue with Monty. Baez, no one is touching him, his contract is a complete bust. The first time in 20 years, MN has the leverage
@@benjames4502 so you're saying the Yanks have to give money and a good prospect to entice a team to take Stro? I agree. Monty would have more appeal to contending teams for the same thing. I wasn't really trying to be specific. Just pointing out a potential for a change of scenery trade that could work out. Baez is a terrible example tho lol
Lopez & Vazquez are too valuable to trade, Yes Baldwin is a nice add but you need to blow MN's sox off, not take a discount for MN to listen. Still hope it doesn't happen.
Correa and Lopez could be traded but it's going to cost a lot more in prospects to get either player, the Twins have 5 - 7 young pitchers this year. After signing Cartaya, Jeffers becomes expandable as Carmago is ready to have his shot in the majors.
These trades are "fair" but don't make a lot of sense for one team. Like, Toronto trading for Cease as a rental when they're probably the fourth best team in the division. Try to sign him as a free agent.
I don't see a Arreaz deal happening just because of the defense for the Yankees. Orioles won't get Castillo unless a lot of cash is involved. Toronto probably don't get Cease unless they want him. I would just send Stroman to the Braves, Atletices for some random prospect, Yankees pay 6.5. Yankees sign someone 3B or 2B or trade for Bredan Donvanon
Yoshida and Abreu would be redundant. I'd prefer trading Keller than Jones for sure, maybe Casas and Yoshida (with cash) for Keller. Then Pirates trade for Marcus Stroman.
@@BigPat216Pirates would never take on Yoshida’s contract and I highly doubt the Sox would pay it and trade Casas unless they were getting Jones in return
Ricky Tiedaman is going to pitch in 25 because of Tommy John surgery. No way on God's earth would AA do this deal. Too many prospects from our sorry farm system.😊
Why would the jays trade for cease? lol he is a rental..the jays want control. If they were on track for a playoff run then maybe. These deals are brutal
What the Jays really should be doing is committing to a rebuild. Trade away all veteran players that have any value for prospects. Their farm is a mess. They're going to be screwed for a long time if they don't commit one way or the other.

Defo not volpe
@@ENTERTAINMENT_DATABASE_Co.Your alternative is Dominguez and paraza to replace Volpe, Jones and warren will still have to be included

Great video
These trades r awful
You should have saw what Jim Riley was saying if you think this is bad (face palm)
The first one would be good for the Red Sox.
They are actually good for B/R
Loved the comments

Depends how you value Waldrep. Idk if I would like that trade as a Braves fan cause Waldrep has insane stuff
I would love a Robert jr to the reds
I don't see why people want jazz to move back to 2nd, he was elite at 3rd 4th in oaa and only played 3rd for like half the season

Nope, I think Marcus Stroman is going to go to the Rangers

The general manager is in his last year of contract, Bichette and Vlad Jr are free agents after this year. Honestly, taking a shot at winning.
Cease to the Angels for Ward+Dana
Prefer it with Adell, Detmers.
Actually (Angell fan, and yes I know....) would rather get Pablo Lopez for Adell, Detmers. Angels then draft Jace Laviolette.
