@@catherinebutler1146I’d love to see your source for that statement. My belief is that Elon is committed to free speech and fairness across the board. The left hates free speech so they will do and say anything to discredit him.
Definitely wouldn't even look at an Aptera if they were aligned with or sharing tech with Tesla. There's no way that my family's money will ever help to enrich Musk or pay for any product he sells. Besides, Tesla vehicles are largely garbage, poorly constructed with terrible quality control 'but they have great software', except for the software that you have to pay for to make the car fully functional, even though all of the hardware for all functions is already installed. If Aptera actually makes it to market, they'll be much better off without any ties to a company like Tesla!
Aptera and its cheerleaders have been claiming this amazing "Game-Changer" is coming to market soon. Soon never comes. I reserved one 3 years ago just to give a little support and see.... However, I don't think I'll follow through with purchasing one, if it indeed ever comes to market. It does have some novelty value but not sure how practical it will be to own. I am interested in having an easy to own, inexpensive practical and reliable transportation. Don't thin Aptera meets any of the above. It has room only for one passenger. Too many unknowns, since it doesn't exist. For example can you load up the back with 50 lbs of stuff, drive on normal roads with hills and still be efficient. I don't want to own a second car for the occasional long distance travel or an additional passenger. Aptera is not that cheep. $35K for base model. You can buy a car like the new Toyota Corolla hybrid for that amount, and you'll have a reliable care with very hight milage/gallon. No charge anxiety and no need for a second car. In regards to sustainability and saving the planet, the manufacturing footprint of this type of care is way more than an average ICE car. I wanted to love Apteral and even own one. The more they delay and the more learn about the limitations of this care the more I want a real car.
The dolphin shape and the three-point wheel placement make it very stable. Wind from all directions is not an issue. Due to its shape, you barely need to use windshield wipers during rain, and bugs do not stick to the windshield. When they took me out in it, I asked if they would take a 90-degree corner at 30 mph with zero braking, which they did. It cornered better than the Panamera GTS.
@@Carl_in_AZ I hope a car magazine gets a chance to test this against the Panamera and a speed hump test against a GV80? We'll see how accurate you are - for me, I think you are lying, or you just can't tell what cars are handling like to save yourself, lol.
Aptera eliminates the need for replacements by never selling you one. Where in there have you specified that this is just a few fake prototypes and there is no hope for them producing? You are deceiving people by not giving the full picture.
Yes, it is still in prototype stage, but that is because they are redesigning and developing almost everything. They should start mass production sometime next year. We have to give them some lax for their innovations. I understand they already have a large preorder list
@@balaji-kartha They claim to have 50,000 preorders. Me included. They've been saying we are redesigning and coming to market next year for at least 3 years. It's getting old. They should just shut up and give update when they actually have a production car to test drive.
Waiting for them to be available for sale…..I want one in green
Aptera has a great product. There's no need for the hype of false advertisement. It will require a charge on long trips.
Keep us posted. I own a Tesla and am very interested in new innovation coming to market.
Thanks 👍
How does it handle potholes?
They took me over a five-inch speed pump at 15 mph with no problems. It felt similar to my GV80.
Nice

January 2025 is a game changer because of Aptera. I will get mine at that date and it'll show how Aptera is #1.
Well, at least you have a good sense of humor.
You have said nothing new😢
I’d love to see a strong relationship between Aptera and Tesla. This would give Tesla a great small car and Aptera autonomous driving.
I'm in full disagreement with you. Elon wants to own the world. He believes only he should get government funding.

I'm wondering how easily an Aptera would flip over in a windstorm. It seems like it could happen even when parked. Would you have to tie it down?
