Fantastic tutorial. I still have issues with citations particularly in dissertations. I realized that endnote brackets the intext citations the way you have demonstrated in the video above. However, how would a writer maintain a citation that appears at the beginning of the sentence like "according to blabla (2020)......" because everytime I do this and update the citations, it changes to (blabla, 2020). I have tried turning the formatting off but it does not help.

I like to keep brief notes on each paper detailing the main findings and how it relates to my writing, it would be great if I could then search within these notes or at least see the notes when I click on each reference. Is this possible in endnote? Or is it possible within any other reference software?

But when in Google scholar I import any reference, it goes to that group only that I save in drive D My whole endnote library with all groups are not seen. Hi, not sure if you are still checking this video but I was wondering how do we renumber the references? as sometimes i may find another reference and add it into the paragraph however endnotes registers it as the next number, not according to the number it appears in the text. Thanks!
