the ending of the song and the little animation giving an actual conclusion to the week is amazing as is, but god damn this is so much an improvement over the original, crazy how much a difference it shows in your skill
Grey actually getting Black voted out was not what I expected but is so good actually and it feels like it adds a bit more to the story if it went down a different route. And black even getting voted is a shocker cause I thought it was impossible to vote him
I imagine gray voted black due to finding out what truly happened to his father. I'd like to think gray did some investigating and found the old camera footage from the skeld when gray's dad was killed. I imagine black told gray his father left him and tried to kill him before black took gray away (Yet never told gray what ever happened to his father)

That plot extension paired with an actual conclusion to the song was most certainly unexpected, but still very much appreciated. Definitely made it all the more epic. Such an immense glow up overall.

My favorite part of this new conclusion is that it gives Black a reason to absolutely despise BF and go after him specifically, which now reasonably ties him in as the main antagonist for our silly little mod. On top of that, this adds a new ending for Gray, who finally wakes up from Black's "brainwashing" and is able to get him and White voted out, which only further builds a motive for Black's loathing of BF. It's like Black had his son taken from him, which is very ironic of course. I believe that Black has a fatherly, yet distorted bond with Gray, as Black basically tore Gray's father from him and turned him into a cold-blooded killer. It adds depth to Black as you get to see how he operates, which is like us in regard to yearning for emotion and relationship, but since he's the villain, it's twisted and contorted into an evil sense of what we feel. He loves Gray, raising him like a son, yet he's blind to how wicked and selfish that bond really is due to his evil nature. It gives us a way to relate to Black, but it's uncomfortable since the love is hypocritical. It results in the audience almost not liking the fact they can relate to Black since he's so clearly wicked and depraved of good morality, so now you further dislike him. I really like how Vs Imposter has oddly good world and character building, although most of the good bits are outside the mod and essentially non canon. It has no reason to be good in these factors, but that's just another reason to adore this mod.

This quite literally fixes ALL the issues I had with the V1 of Double Kill (which was STILL amazing, for the record)! Any minor complaints I had were WASHED away with this V2! I pray and hope we get an instrumental version of this! WELL DONE, GOOD SIR!

Whether the previous songs go the same way as before is unknown - but Double Kill goes similar to how it did before, perhaps intentionally as Black’s way of saying “Nothing will change, you’re caught in an endless cycle of defeat at my hands”… but Yellow had Guardian Angel role this time, allowing BF to make a break for the emergency button. I suppose Grey having the sanity to strike back at Black is probably thanks to Pink talking some sense into him in Pretender. With Black going into a smaller version of his parasite form, I’d say this game probably takes place shortly before Finale - this is what makes Black angry enough to go full-strength in the rematch (though this isn’t the game right before Finale - Identitiy Crisis comes after this game, since we know that comes right before Finale).

Im so glad this wasn't a troll, I swear many fnf creators have been setting up premieres of songs that end up just being trolls lately. I know it's to be funny but some of them I had high hopes and was kinda disappointed when it turned out to be a troll.
Grey's betrayal at the end was legitimately unexpected, but I love the closure for his story thanks to this remix. Originally (when I watched the version of this song without the visuals) I wasn't too fond of it, but the advancement of the lore with Black actually losing and GREY being a deciding factor was exactly what I needed to push this past it's predecessor. 100/10 song and lore
Some fanmade lore for y’all!! So about the final part where “parasite” black and white are chasing you down: If black was properly in his parasite form, the airship would get completely destroyed. This is due to the fact that, from what we see in finale, black’s parasite form spreads like an infection. I feel like this indicates that black is only partially in his parasite form, explaining the red lines on his body. As for white’s parasite form, he might only be a parasite due to black’s infection-like parasite form. I’m basically saying it’s now spread to white. Timeline of events (fanmade of course): Up until black’s solo part, they’re in the cargo room with of the 2nd airship like normal Black’s solo part, the defeat screen gradient appears, indicating that bf may die like normal. UNTIL: Yellow, as a guardian angel saves BF from his demise Black, white and BF are now running back across the platform to get back to the main airship. BF intends to call a meeting. They make it to the airship and BF succeeds in calling a meeting. Before the whole airship week fiasco, BF managed to convince gray that black is a murderous monster who is using gray for his own personal gain. Gray remembers this in the meeting and votes for black to be ejected, while bf votes for white. They convince the crew to eject black and white simultaneously, and the game is finally won by ejection Bf and gray become besties 😊 AAAAAH THIS TOOK TOO LONG TO TYPE OUT HELP ME
Great remix, and I love the lore parts, where Yellow gets his revenge on White by protecting BF (you hear a shield break at 4:22 and you can see Yellow in the background of the part right after, and where Gray gets revenge on Black by voting him out just like Black voted out Gray's father (in both scenes the voter is seen in the reflection of the one voted)
You did an amazing job as always with this one Rareblin! Loved it. Only thing I wish is that it could've used black's chromatic in Danger remastered, but that's more of a personal preference thing. I understand if it wasn't able to be used. Keep up the amazing work.

Ok, as much as i prefer the old bf chromatic, i actually think it makes sense here, and it makes the mando reference arguably better. I like the cuts you made to the song, shortening it and removing some parts just to make the last part. I wouldn't have liked it if u just cut but left the tones the same, but you actually gave the "speed up" part a completely different tone approach which i really enjoy. Talking about the final part. I love the black solo moment, its a great upgrade, but what follows is chaos, i think its just me but i cannot hear black and i am a bit torn whether i lile the white parasite vocals or not. But its a good impactful 20 seconds which makes it stand out. I loved the lore included in the ending. My final opinion is... with some upgrades and tweaks it edges out the v1. Even tho i love v1 double kill. Great job rareblin and i'm surprised someone from the team is still working with the songs. Keep up the amazing composing skills you have!

Heh. For this mod, it feels like the best ideas are always saved for last when a mod releases big time. Following this trend of epicness (and an alternate timeline where Black and White got ejected), it'd be insane to get to see Black and White spawn some of their parasitic limbs and form to attach themselves onto the airship from underneath and silently make their way back aboard again, going on a mass murder spree, culminating in "Defeat V2" (whenever that gets created) and eventually the ghosts help BF survive in "Finale V2" (whenever that gets created). >:D

Grey's betrayal at the end was legitimately unexpected, but I love the closure for his story thanks to this remix.
Originally (when I watched the version of this song without the visuals) I wasn't too fond of it, but the advancement of the lore with Black actually losing and GREY being a deciding factor was exactly what I needed to push this past it's predecessor.

So about the final part where “parasite” black and white are chasing you down:
If black was properly in his parasite form, the airship would get completely destroyed. This is due to the fact that, from what we see in finale, black’s parasite form spreads like an infection. I feel like this indicates that black is only partially in his parasite form, explaining the red lines on his body.
As for white’s parasite form, he might only be a parasite due to black’s infection-like parasite form. I’m basically saying it’s now spread to white.
Timeline of events (fanmade of course):
Up until black’s solo part, they’re in the cargo room with of the 2nd airship like normal
Black’s solo part, the defeat screen gradient appears, indicating that bf may die like normal. UNTIL:
Yellow, as a guardian angel saves BF from his demise
Black, white and BF are now running back across the platform to get back to the main airship. BF intends to call a meeting.
They make it to the airship and BF succeeds in calling a meeting.
Before the whole airship week fiasco, BF managed to convince gray that black is a murderous monster who is using gray for his own personal gain.
Gray remembers this in the meeting and votes for black to be ejected, while bf votes for white.
They convince the crew to eject black and white simultaneously, and the game is finally won by ejection
Bf and gray become besties 😊

Great remix, and I love the lore parts, where Yellow gets his revenge on White by protecting BF (you hear a shield break at 4:22 and you can see Yellow in the background of the part right after, and where Gray gets revenge on Black by voting him out just like Black voted out Gray's father (in both scenes the voter is seen in the reflection of the one voted)
i love the part when Black n withe says ''It's Double kill time'' then start to kill all around and chase a blue balls guy

Ok, as much as i prefer the old bf chromatic, i actually think it makes sense here, and it makes the mando reference arguably better. I like the cuts you made to the song, shortening it and removing some parts just to make the last part. I wouldn't have liked it if u just cut but left the tones the same, but you actually gave the "speed up" part a completely different tone approach which i really enjoy. Talking about the final part. I love the black solo moment, its a great upgrade, but what follows is chaos, i think its just me but i cannot hear black and i am a bit torn whether i lile the white parasite vocals or not. But its a good impactful 20 seconds which makes it stand out. I loved the lore included in the ending. My final opinion is... with some upgrades and tweaks it edges out the v1. Even tho i love v1 double kill. Great job rareblin and i'm surprised someone from the team is still working with the songs. Keep up the amazing composing skills you have!

Heh. For this mod, it feels like the best ideas are always saved for last when a mod releases big time.
Following this trend of epicness (and an alternate timeline where Black and White got ejected), it'd be insane to get to see Black and White spawn some of their parasitic limbs and form to attach themselves onto the airship from underneath and silently make their way back aboard again, going on a mass murder spree, culminating in "Defeat V2" (whenever that gets created) and eventually the ghosts help BF survive in "Finale V2" (whenever that gets created). >:D
