They are both sorting materials and the backhoe is stripping as much insulating material from the roof sheathing as is possible for him before stacking! Both operators are doing an excellent job!!!!!!!!!

No one but no one does a "soft strip" these days for stuff like ceiling grid and internal fittings - it's all dropped on site and trucked to a recycling fragmenter plant.

The mechanical, elevator and HVAC systems were outdated, worn, expensive to maintain, and they were not energy efficient. The facility was opened in 1960 and was renovated in 1985. It was in need of space reconfiguration to meet current library information needs.
