I’ve been finding a lot of success recently with slayer fighter prioritizing action speed and movespeed with a decent amount of strength/additional damage using the Morningstar and stiletto dagger for a base 20% armor pen. Each kit has been running me at least through 4-5 games with a good amount of combat. I haven’t been watching a lot of videos on dark and darker recently so I might have missed a meta change or this could already be a strat but I haven’t seen anyone else running it in game

I've been playing the hell out of Slayer lately. To help with plate you should try carrying an Epic+ windlass too. They're basically free and you can just swap to your normal bow after you take your shot. Also been considering doing a strength max version of Slayer + Victory Strike just to see how much burst you can pack onto that initial Windlass shot. Falch + Cyclops Eye for the highest possible burst after hitting your crossbow shot. Getting a ton of phys power bonus for all the extra weapon damage you're packing.
What a great video! Would love to see part 2 with Short sword and arming sword combo when u hold left and right click together for a special combo, when the swords are attackin together! Love the dex build!
The Movespeed Bonus stat is literally identical to Additional Movespeed for boots, but is typically cheaper because most people seemingly don't know, as it increases your movement speed by 1 for every .3: .7-.9 = +3ms 1.0-1.2 = +4ms 1.3-1.5 = +5ms
@@brissywink Your base should be around 300 ms but it is class dependant and if a value equals .5 it will be rounded up in the D&D system. So in this case .8 and .9 would equal 3. I don't think .7 would unless Rogue or Ranger. But yeah, 1.5% movespeed will equal 4.5 on even the slower classes and be rounded up to 5 move speed.
I think i saw you ingame with this build in a normal lobby during the weekend, or maybe someone else was using it. Only saw in lobby but didnt manage to find him in the map, looks deadly
How about a recap of the gold gained from your games with the kit ? It would be interesting to see the return of investments of your build as the majority of players of DD are low on gold

Can you try doing off meta stat builds like a max projectile reduction buff duration max physical healing I feel like with how the market is you can max out these stats for really cheap

I think the way to go is 1 sword + 1 dagger to get that "sword mastery" action speed bonus. So either 1st hand dagger + short sword or, probably, falchion + 2nd hand dagger.
Treat bonk wizards like barbarians their ranged damage is so awful they have fireball and zap max for ranged damage. Kite out the ignite and his damage won't be nearly enough to win in the melee. Bow > his ranged spells and your melee damage is better than his staff without ignite up 100%. Also make sure to pop the bubble so you can headshot him

Dex fighter is a fusion between barb and ranger, outperforming both while being able to use Rogue weapons.
