Hi friends, hope you enjoyed the video! If you are interested, there is an exclusive 'behind the scenes' video to accompany this one which is available right now on Patreon and for YT Channel Members. Btw, if it turns out the Switch 2 reveal gets a trailer filmed around here too, should I go back for seconds? 👀
Oh wow, that's a really interesting idea for a video! Didn't expect anyone to track down the locations from the Switch reveal trailer, that's for sure!
This is so awesome. I was actually just there this summer and I’m pretty sure I sat on that bench in Stanley Park. Can’t wait to go back and try to recreate some of this
PHENOMENAL VIDEO!!! The nostalgia I have for this trailer... Nintendo really needed a win and I knew the second I saw this they had a winner with the Switch
Really cool idea! And great video production! Are those some drone shots I saw? Missed opportunity to knock on the door and sit on that couch lol😂 The wedding lore was so great I was 😭
When I tell you this is peak content, I MEAN this is peak content. Great work, Daniel! Also, did you immediately recognize the park you got married in when you first watched the trailer?
Awesome video! Vancouver has always been on my "dream city" list, would love to visit someday. Maybe keep an eye out for marketing agencies filming for the sequel? 😆
Capt this video was SWEET!! Loved seeing everything from that commercial but behind the scenes. Are you the first person to ever do this? I wouldn’t be surprised! So cool! 😊
Whoa, amazing video! I LOVE comparison videos, usually before/after in game sequels, but this is like the perfect evolution of that. It's clear you put a ton of effort into this, and it came out great.
Very cool video. So many things are filmed in Vancouver. I'm really starting to wonder if we'll even get a reveal trailer like this for Switch 2. We might just get a presentation focused mostly on games since the hardware form factor is not changing much.
Great video! It’s kind of like getting a peek behind the Nintendo curtain. How did it feel when you realized this was your town? The closest I’ve had to this was when I watched a true crime show and recognized a dumpster where someone hid a body was just around the corner from my house…
Thanks man! TBH when I found out I was mostly unsurprised, but simultaneously fascinated by it haha. So much stuff is filmed around Vancouver, so it totally made sense. BUT this was so aligned with my weird niche interests that I couldn't but dig into every shot. My hyper fixation would never truly rest until I made this video lol PS, sorry for hiding that body near your house!
What a great video!! Top tier work and investigation skills!! 😊🤘🏻 Also what a lovely wedding location you had!! Not many people can say their wedding location was in a Nintendo trailer 🥰😊

You should definitely go back for seconds!
Everything about this video is so good. Feels like a TV documentary.
Loved this video. Super creative concept and insane production value!
Thanks so much man! Means a lot 🥲
Well this is certainly a cool video! Awesome work man, loved this!!
Thanks a ton Adam 🥲

I love stuff like this
Love how this video turned out, such a great idea to revisit the locations. Looking forward to the next one!
The behind the scenes video is worth it!
Couldn’t have done it without you my friend 🥲

My home! I love seeing all the neighborhoods near me in movies/tv shows/commercials
Also, I’m not going to dox myself, but one of the trailer shots has my apartment in the background 😅
I didn't know Vancouver was real.

Love this video idea so much! ♡ Really cool blast to the past.

Haha I sure did! Not many parks with that view around here 😅
Thanks so much Joey!

What a cool idea for a video! Thanks for this fun tour
Oh my Capt this is just incredible, very fun video. Side note I really need to visit Vancouver lol
Capt this video was SWEET!! Loved seeing everything from that commercial but behind the scenes. Are you the first person to ever do this? I wouldn’t be surprised! So cool! 😊
I think so! I certainly haven’t seen anybody else do it 👀
It is both crazy that it was shot local to you, and that you went to all the spots! Very cool Daniel.

I love my Wii U. I was playing Nintendo Land just last week.

If the Switch 2 gets a reveal trailer like this one, and it ends up being filmed here then I'll make a sequel to this video lol
What a fantastic video, feels surreal to see the actual locations from the trailer :) Nice work
Love this idea! Always love seeing the variety of content

I really enjoyed this and the format of it ❤
fire music choice
Very interesting video! I had no idea the commercial was shot in Vancouver! I always assumed it was shot in Washington state.
Given that NOA's main office is in Redmond Washington, I can absolutely understand that
You did a great job on the video! Very well researched.@@CaptBurgerson
Oh common Capt EVERYONE knows Vancouver ceased to exist once the Grizzlies moved to Memphis in the early 2000's! 🤭
cool!!
