Hey GB IT, has been quite some time since I have commented I truly hope all is well and warm with you and your family. Nice as always... Cheers, Martin
I've often thought about sending a batch off to get DL coating but never pulled the trigger on that particular technology. Its definitely very neat stuff
@@goshohgosh4568 Yeah its a process similar to gas-nitriding and can be cooked on with low temp plasma or lasers. Where it beats out a lot of coating like ceramic, nitriding, anodising and bluing is that its impermeable, you don't get any dimensional changes and its got a very slick, extremely hard covering. So basically anything that will get through 80-90HRC of DLC coating is probably going to kill whatever is under it.
Fantastic! Can't wait to see more.
safety shorts? check
safety flip flops? check

The way you slap the spine to bring the tip up amazes me. Such a cool move. Awesome knife shape and handle combination. Looks great.

What is DL coating, I've never heard of that and a quick Google didn't illuminate things for me

80crv2 vs 52100 for a cleaning knife on deer?
I’d think a well heat treated 52100 would hold an edge longer. But ?
👏👏👏🤜🤛
I misread the JFAK knife and thought it said JAFK and I thought it meant "Just Another Fucking Knife." Then I read it again. Oops
