Every young Hmong woman who succeeded in life, whether it's in education/career or business, should be an inspiration for the next generation of young Hmong women. Good for Payengxa for putting herself out there on the world stage, but her dream of success for herself and others is not unique, but it does get the idea of being more magnanimous out there among the Hmong people because the Hmong people, in general, is not known to be magnanimous---just listen to the unfair treatment of their women and orphans.

I speak 4 language and read too, I taught myself mostly by reading and learning from a dictionary. My Dad wants the same thing for me as Payengxa Lor’s Dad wants for her.

English is not that hard to learn. Been telling people this. She proves my point. The only reason English is hard is not having people to correct your mistakes. Basically, once you learn it, you just have to use it with people who are fluent or proficient. A lot of new learners make the mistake of translating it directly so they speak as if it is their own language. English is only made hard bc the way they use the words or how they structure sentences. White folks learning Hmong also make this common mistake of using words like "to" or "come." Hmong people use these words very differently in our language.
Hmoob women net work -point her to the right direction here in America. Her winning miss universe Lao will lift up her ethnic community &represent her country Laos.

I use to be a tour guide in Luang prabang, laos. English in laos is very poor salary. It's not good earn money as Germany, Italain, Chinese, Japanese...
Why English language is very lowest pay in Laos? You make more money from others languages?

A lot of the previous winners (in state) are just a bunch of clubbing people. I wish we get better girls to run for pageant in the state

There's nothing wrong with going to the club. The problem is winning the title and getting married off instantly. There is so much more opportunity and more to life to live than just marriage. Just my opinion.
