i went to wrigley for this game. im from kc and it was my first tome going to a different ballpark. the energy was so drastically different than the K. it was my favorite moment ive had in years. i went with my mom and sister. i will never forget this game

Dude the vibes are just awesome man especially a night game in the summer. After the game too wrigleyville is still alive. Great thing about the cubs is even if they were playing horrible there would still be so many fans with energy

Cubs come back down to earth. Played a real ballgame tonight and held on for the win. I don't know if Weaver was pitching better than usual or if Cubs just off a bit after hitting non-stop for two nights. But they got it done--Taillon kept control of things from his end and Hoerner and Gomes and Belli with critical RBI hits. In short, a real baseball game. And we won. It's going to be even more real Friday night. Let's go Cubs!

Bellinger is a tremendous asset to this team. But don't get too excited about beating her Reds. Their last 10 games ERA with 6.11 almost a full run higher than the Cubs. Their best pitchers are injured. They're still scoring runs though. But they can't seem to get anybody out. So don't buy your World Series tickets quite yet.
The Cubs don't have a great bullpen....so what is your point....every team has problems.....a win is a win.....let me go back and explain away Cubs losses.....oh, Bellinger was out that game and Swanson was out this game.....I can play that all day.

The only reason I pick them is because they are the only NL central team with a plus run differential (+79) while the other 4 teams are all minus differential. It's funny but usually where the teams stand in the division is in the order of that differential.
