I just saw this show tonight. I pray my Rosary every day. Keith was right about the sorrowful mysteries. When I get to the crowning with thorns & the crucifixion, I cry all the way through them because I know that it was my sins that pushed those thorns into Jesus & my sins that nailed Him to that cross. After the St.Michael prayer 🙏 before kissing the cross, I ALWAYS thank Him for what he went through to procure my salvation. ❤❤❤ Thank you for your show!!
My mom died in March 2020 just as Keith was starting Rosary Crew. It wasn’t too long after her death that I was drawn to Rosary Crew. Then my dad died ( unexpectedly) a year later and the grief of losing them both was really hard to bear. It was then that I started following Rosary Crew like Mary was welcoming me into her motherly loving arms
As charismatic going thru RCIA I prayed the rosary for the first time about 4 weeks ago and I can’t deny the power and grace and sorrow I felt. I really felt I was with Christ. I balled!!! The Holy Spirit is definitely there!
23:10 I love what Keith says here, that focusing on the mysteries of the rosary keep us from praying in vain! It’s praying in an empty/vain fashion that is wrong, not the repetition. Thank you, I am learning more and more about the rosary from this discussion. (Cradle Catholic here, wanting to return but husband is Protestant as well and threatened divorce if I do return; and we all know Jesus hates divorce.)
I'm a Protestant....who prays the rosary every night. I know it makes me an odd duck. I certainly don't talk about it at my church, lol. But, as drug and alcohol counselor there are a lot of things I have to process. I have more peace in my life.
This is such great show. There are times, I feel a tingle in my face and upper arms praying the rosary. I have had the same experience, when I receive the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinty of Christ. God Bless the four of you.

I just watched this episode for the first time tonight. As a womb to tomb Catholic, I learned the Rosary many years ago, and got away from it. You have inspired me to take it up as part of my Lenten practice this year, and while taking in the episode and reflecting on Mary, I felt her hand on my left shoulder and a warmth over me and the room. Something like that has never happened to me. Thank you, gents!
I pray the rosary everyday. Cried when I first prayed the sorrowful mystery and this mystery always hit me hard whenever I prayed it. And it is always a sense of relief and joy whenever I pray the joyful mystery. The other mysteries have a very calming effect on me when I contemplate the essence of the mysteries. Pray and meditate along. You will feel the presence of Mary, Christ and God. Listen to them. I have heard them talking to me. Comforting me. Enlightening me. May God bless everyone here. ❤
I pray all 4 mysteries in one sitting every day then I pray the rosary on my way to work. And again on my way home. And at least 3 more during my day. Again before I go to bed.. Very devoted to the rosary.

I am a dedicated Rosary Prayer, totally devoted to Our Lady. Whenever I can I go to Fatima Shrine, I tune to their TH-cam and FB link to join others on-line and I can FEEL their energy, their warmth and light. In South Africa I joined Schoenstatt for prayers, mass.... Lots of blessings to you all for your program, your dedication....

The Institution of the Eucharist in the Luminous Mysteries, with it's fruit of active participation at Mass, really opened up my heart and eyes to the reality of the True Presence of Christ in the reserve in the tabernacle. That changed everything. I see my Lord when I enter a church, I cross myself when I pass a church because I know He's inside and I open my heart to what is happening at the consecration during Mass. All the mysteries have impacted and still impact me. Our Lady was instrumental in helping me take my faith seriously. I thank God for such a mother and queen.
For me the Sorrowful Mysteries are what got me closer to our Blessed Mother. Every spiritual fruit, God,s will be done, Purity, Christ reign in our hearts , patient bearing of Trials, Pardoning of injury To my husband the Joyful Mysteries is what got him closer to momma Jesus. I am a cradle Catholic and all my life i have wanted to learn the mysteries of the rosary by heart and i never could. They would not stay in my head but when we encountered Keith Nester praying the rosary live, we joined in, then we found ourselves joining in everyday at five. So, because of Keith's way of meditating on the mysteries, I finally know them by heart including the fruit of the mystery. I'm going to be honest I was not praying the rosary everyday back when, i would pray it every other day with meditation, but i use to use books i had to read the mystery i could not remember the mysteries. Keith's way of meditation brought the rosary to life for me and my husband and helped us live each mystery as if we were there with Christ. So that helped me learn them by heart. Now i pray 4 Rosary's a day, Thanks to Gabriel Castillo i learned about the 4 Rosary's and now i can pray them without a book. Plus we listen to Keith's unpacking of the mass which is another thing that helped us.
The Sorrowful mysteries are the ones which can really touch me and I end up in tears frequently. I've read the hours of the Passion by Luisa Piccartta and they definitely help you connect more with what Jesus felt, saw, and thought while going through the Passion. Praying the psalter daily helps bring peace and sense of security, a sense that she is really there to help you through the hard times especially helping with anxiety and fear, she is there to guide you to her Son's loving arms. ❤️
I’ve seen the focused prayer of the rosary help overcome addiction (my father) & for me personally I feel closer to God & it’s easier & easier to avoid sin!
I'm kind of geeking out watching 2 of my fav Catholic utubers &watch both every week. So thankful for the Catholic Talk Show & Keith Nester. Thank you for keeping me accountable & striving toward Heavenly matters. I love the Luminous Mysteries. The wedding at Cana draws me into the presence of the 1st miracle. I catered weddings more than 15yrs; i think about the miracle that unfolded in front of the servers & how it hopefully changed their hearts, lives & to share w others. It's a beautiful Mystery to pray for a couple on the day of their wedding.
What helps me (and I don't know if this is 'proper' or not, I'll have to ask my priest) and what helped me get started with the rosary are all the videos out there with today's mystery (Sorrowful, Glorious, etc). Even today (5+ years since I started doing this) just because I like the person reciting the video rosary, I pray along with them. Once you get into that habit and have basically memorized the prayers AND the mysteries (which are very important, IMHO) you can then pray the rosary while in front of the Blessed Sacrament, or at the library, or waiting in a parking lot. Pray the rosary at least once a day, and the grace will find you and make your spiritual life so much better for it! Praise Jesus and Mary ❤
Praying The Rosary is contemplating Jesus Christs life, each decade reflects different events. Comprised of verses Mt 6:9-13, Eph 3:21, Lk 1:28, 42-43 & Jm 5:16. Rosary Center online gives The Mysteries to reflect on while praying. Powerful weapon against evil, even more powerful when fasting!!! So powerful it’s used in exorcisms!
My own personal testimony is in the Sorrowful Mysteries; especially on Good Friday.... As I listen to the reflections that others do during the Way of the Cross; it is like I can actually feel the sorrow and the pain of what both Jesus AND Mary are going through... and I cry... In my heart I shout to God and Jesus... I cry out, "WHY? WHY ARE WE SO WORTHY OF SUCH LOVE? WE ARE SUCH BROKEN IDIOTS! WHY?" Then I think someone up there doesn't want me to cry; instead it is like someone is getting me to think of a mother or father trying to get a "disobedient" child to do as they are told, and so when a child demands, "WHY?" the parent simply replies, "Because I SAID SO...." At that point when I cry out "WHY?" I can ALMOST hear God Himself saying, "BECAUSE I SAID SO!"
Thank you for the comments on vain repetition because ive always been mindful of that and has sometimes troubled me!! It is a releif to know we have been given a gift to stop this. ❤
I started a 54-day Rosary novena on October 1 to end on Thanksgiving day. At first, I found it REALLY difficult to concentrate, but as I persevere, I feel my mind finally calming down a bit. The first three or so days, I thought "I can't do this." Now, I'm looking forward to the next 44 days. (And, I'm using Hallow!) It's not like I've never prayed The Rosary before, but the idea of COMMITTING TO doing it for 54 days felt SO daunting. Now I feel like I'm going to do it every day, pretty much forever. This particular episode is a VERY timely blessing for me. Thanks, guys!

I look to Mary as an example for my life. I feel that in the first Joyful Mystery she is teaching us to say "yes" to God. In the second Joyful Mystery, the Visitation, she is teaching us how to love and serve others. Then in the third Joyful Mystery, the Nativity, she brings to us the best gift we have ever been given....Our Lord Jesus. And the journey just continues from there. By meditating on the Mysteries, we get to know God, not just know about Him.
A few months ago, my oldest (who has a congenital heart defect) had a saddle blockage (massive clot) in his heart that was about to kill him. They transported him to a hospital 2 hours away. By the time he got there, there were no signs of any clots or blockage in his whole body. I prayed the rosary while he was being transported. I give all the credit to God and the saying of the Rosary for saving his life. That next Sunday he gave his life to God. I know the power that can be had in it in our darkest times.

I'm in the process of converting, but I was baptised in the Church and most of my family is Catholic so I was a little familiar with the rosary. I knew my aunts and grandma carried one everywhere and my grandma gave me one with a little booklet when I was 11. I started RCIA during the darkest period of my life so far, and I found the rosary my grandma gave me and taught myself with Hallow how to pray it. I've been doing it every night for a couple months and it's been life-changing. I credit it with a lot of the strength I've found during this time.
That's so amazing. I've struggled with praying the rosary. In all honesty, I struggle with several of the catholic teachings, but I want to learn more. Like the rosary, I'm seeking more knowledge about the other things I struggle with. But push come to shove, I claim Catholicism.

I also pray the 7 sorrows of Mary. I bought the rosary for that prayer then after i am done with that i do the 14 stations of the cross and the I pray the devine mercy chaplet.
My wife’s family and mine are active in the block rosary for the community. We have the Fatima pilgrim we used to process in the street and pray at home every day for a week, move her from house to house everyday. It’s consoling and preserve our faith through good and bad times. Absolutely kept my family together as we say the rosary.

Good Show You forgot to mention that Saint Dominic found the rosary. Also it is through Luke’s Gospel and spirit that inspired the rosary. And I remembered i used to watch father Groeschel who is a Dominican friar on Sunday nights before Sunday night football. And father Richard when you talk about the agony of the garden two out of the four gospels Luke and John have evil entering Jesus internally Matthew and Mark have it externally. The 14 stations of the cross which by the way the crucifix is only allowed on I believe Catholicism And orthodox religions. His frown makes my frown into a smile. If that makes sense. As Catholics we celebrate Good Friday and the suffering and the sacrifice that leads to Easter. 333
When I was 2 years old, I still coul not walk. One night, my dad was at adoration and told Jesus that he didn't want to talk to him, he wanted to talk to Mary. He asked Mary if there was any way if she could intervene and help me walk to please help. He then prayed the Rosary and went home. When he got home, my mom said "hey, watch this" and I walked in front of my dad.
It's definitely a journey. I enjoy the podcast, On the Journey with Matt and Ken. Both are converts. Ken was a Baptist Pastor for 10 years. Thank you for this episode. My rosary has been lacking lately, very rote, to where I'm saying it but don't even realize it until it's over. I needed some inspiration to pay better attention.
i never have enough of the right words for things like these. just listen to this guy talking about discovering the holy rosary. for himself. when you genuinely pray the holy rosary you will have similar experiences. everything is true, every mystery, the whole entire bible, the life of Jesus Christ, his mother, all of it. it's all true. we need more guys like these who are willing to give God a chance through the most holy most powerful rosarian devotion. it's a literal miracle that we have it and a literal miracle that anyone who is willing can share in the mysteries & miracles of Our Lady the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. it's a hallelujiah thing it really is. i was going nowhere with my faith until the Mother of God herself stepped in & gently led me to praying the holy rosary every single day. what Fr. Rich says is absolutely true too, that we are a part of the mystery of salvation when we engage in the holy rosary we become part of not only our own salvation story but the salvation story of all mankind. it means we are necessary for the story to be complete!! like Ryan Scheel says it's a key from heaven. and Keith is right about the vain part. i have something to add on that, and it has to do with humility. our brains are designed by God for a purpose. we are not so powerful that we don't need help, or let's say, practice. when we say the Hail Mary in a uniform manner 1 after the other, it activates our brains, the way God made them because we aren't smart enough to not need the help. or the practice! unfortunately alot of the vain repetitions are coming from the protestant community. when they say 'father God' over & over and over again in a way trying to summon Him. and it isn't necessary to summon someone who is already there. what's important is humbling ourselves and surrendering to God by entering into the state of humility and asking God's Mother for help to come to Jesus. it acknowledges the full Holy Family which does in fact include His Mother. we can't do that on our own by any amount of vain pleading. the Rosary is a Gift to us & it's absolutely special in that when we pray the Holy Rosary, we are Unified in our Faith because we are all praying the same prayer. on the same day. as a Body of Believers. the Body of Christ. Catholics !!! :) and anyone can pray it !!! :) no wonder this guy is a frequently requested guest, he explains things very well !!! :) Fr. Calloway is another one they should have on here as he is also a huge advocate of Mary.

I am a dedicated Rosary Prayer, totally devoted to Our Lady. Whenever I can I go to Fatima Shrine, I tune to their TH-cam and FB link to join others on-line and I can FEEL their energy, their warmth and light. The Institution of the Eucharist in the Luminous Mysteries, with it's fruit of active participation at Mass, really opened up my heart and eyes to the reality of the True Presence of Christ in the reserve in the tabernacle. That changed everything. I see my Lord when I enter a church, I cross myself when I pass a church because I know He's inside and I open my heart to what is happening at the consecration during Mass.
All the mysteries have impacted and still impact me.
Our Lady was instrumental in helping me take my faith seriously. I thank God for such a mother and queen.

For me the Sorrowful Mysteries are what got me closer to our Blessed Mother. Every spiritual fruit, God,s will be done, Purity, Christ reign in our hearts , patient bearing of Trials, Pardoning of injury To my husband the Joyful Mysteries is what got him closer to momma Jesus.
I am a cradle Catholic and all my life i have wanted to learn the mysteries of the rosary by heart and i never could. They would not stay in my head but when we encountered Keith Nester praying the rosary live, we joined in, then we found ourselves joining in everyday at five. So, because of Keith's way of meditating on the mysteries, I finally know them by heart including the fruit of the mystery. I'm going to be honest I was not praying the rosary everyday back when, i would pray it every other day with meditation, but i use to use books i had to read the mystery i could not remember the mysteries. Keith's way of meditation brought the rosary to life for me and my husband and helped us live each mystery as if we were there with Christ.
So that helped me learn them by heart. Now i pray 4 Rosary's a day, Thanks to Gabriel Castillo i learned about the 4 Rosary's and now i can pray them without a book. Plus we listen to Keith's unpacking of the mass which is another thing that helped us.
The Sorrowful mysteries are the ones which can really touch me and I end up in tears frequently. I've read the hours of the Passion by Luisa Piccartta and they definitely help you connect more with what Jesus felt, saw, and thought while going through the Passion. Praying the psalter daily helps bring peace and sense of security, a sense that she is really there to help you through the hard times especially helping with anxiety and fear, she is there to guide you to her Son's loving arms. ❤️

I'm kind of geeking out watching 2 of my fav Catholic utubers &watch both every week. So thankful for the Catholic Talk Show & Keith Nester. Thank you for keeping me accountable & striving toward Heavenly matters. I love the Luminous Mysteries. The wedding at Cana draws me into the presence of the 1st miracle. I catered weddings more than 15yrs; i think about the miracle that unfolded in front of the servers & how it hopefully changed their hearts, lives & to share w others. It's a beautiful Mystery to pray for a couple on the day of their wedding.
What helps me (and I don't know if this is 'proper' or not, I'll have to ask my priest) and what helped me get started with the rosary are all the videos out there with today's mystery (Sorrowful, Glorious, etc). Even today (5+ years since I started doing this) just because I like the person reciting the video rosary, I pray along with them. Once you get into that habit and have basically memorized the prayers AND the mysteries (which are very important, IMHO) you can then pray the rosary while in front of the Blessed Sacrament, or at the library, or waiting in a parking lot. Pray the rosary at least once a day, and the grace will find you and make your spiritual life so much better for it! Praise Jesus and Mary ❤

Praying The Rosary is contemplating Jesus Christs life, each decade reflects different events. Comprised of verses Mt 6:9-13, Eph 3:21, Lk 1:28, 42-43 & Jm 5:16. Rosary Center online gives The Mysteries to reflect on while praying. Powerful weapon against evil, even more powerful when fasting!!! So powerful it’s used in exorcisms!
My own personal testimony is in the Sorrowful Mysteries; especially on Good Friday.... As I listen to the reflections that others do during the Way of the Cross; it is like I can actually feel the sorrow and the pain of what both Jesus AND Mary are going through... and I cry... In my heart I shout to God and Jesus... I cry out, "WHY? WHY ARE WE SO WORTHY OF SUCH LOVE? WE ARE SUCH BROKEN IDIOTS! WHY?" Then I think someone up there doesn't want me to cry; instead it is like someone is getting me to think of a mother or father trying to get a "disobedient" child to do as they are told, and so when a child demands, "WHY?" the parent simply replies, "Because I SAID SO...." At that point when I cry out "WHY?" I can ALMOST hear God Himself saying, "BECAUSE I SAID SO!"
Rosary is my Weapon it is Protecting us every time Amen 🙏

I started a 54-day Rosary novena on October 1 to end on Thanksgiving day. At first, I found it REALLY difficult to concentrate, but as I persevere, I feel my mind finally calming down a bit. The first three or so days, I thought "I can't do this." Now, I'm looking forward to the next 44 days. (And, I'm using Hallow!) It's not like I've never prayed The Rosary before, but the idea of COMMITTING TO doing it for 54 days felt SO daunting. Now I feel like I'm going to do it every day, pretty much forever. This particular episode is a VERY timely blessing for me. Thanks, guys!

I look to Mary as an example for my life. I feel that in the first Joyful Mystery she is teaching us to say "yes" to God. In the second Joyful Mystery, the Visitation, she is teaching us how to love and serve others. Then in the third Joyful Mystery, the Nativity, she brings to us the best gift we have ever been given....Our Lord Jesus. And the journey just continues from there. By meditating on the Mysteries, we get to know God, not just know about Him.
A few months ago, my oldest (who has a congenital heart defect) had a saddle blockage (massive clot) in his heart that was about to kill him. They transported him to a hospital 2 hours away. By the time he got there, there were no signs of any clots or blockage in his whole body. I prayed the rosary while he was being transported. I give all the credit to God and the saying of the Rosary for saving his life. That next Sunday he gave his life to God. I know the power that can be had in it in our darkest times.

I'm in the process of converting, but I was baptised in the Church and most of my family is Catholic so I was a little familiar with the rosary. I knew my aunts and grandma carried one everywhere and my grandma gave me one with a little booklet when I was 11.
I started RCIA during the darkest period of my life so far, and I found the rosary my grandma gave me and taught myself with Hallow how to pray it. I've been doing it every night for a couple months and it's been life-changing. I credit it with a lot of the strength I've found during this time.
That's so amazing. I've struggled with praying the rosary. In all honesty, I struggle with several of the catholic teachings, but I want to learn more. Like the rosary, I'm seeking more knowledge about the other things I struggle with. But push come to shove, I claim Catholicism.

I also pray the 7 sorrows of Mary. I bought the rosary for that prayer then after i am done with that i do the 14 stations of the cross and the I pray the devine mercy chaplet.
My wife’s family and mine are active in the block rosary for the community. We have the Fatima pilgrim we used to process in the street and pray at home every day for a week, move her from house to house everyday. It’s consoling and preserve our faith through good and bad times. Absolutely kept my family together as we say the rosary.

You forgot to mention that Saint Dominic found the rosary. Also it is through Luke’s Gospel and spirit that inspired the rosary. And I remembered i used to watch father Groeschel who is a Dominican friar on Sunday nights before Sunday night football. And father Richard when you talk about the agony of the garden two out of the four gospels Luke and John have evil entering Jesus internally Matthew and Mark have it externally. The 14 stations of the cross which by the way the crucifix is only allowed on I believe Catholicism And orthodox religions. His frown makes my frown into a smile. If that makes sense. As Catholics we celebrate Good Friday and the suffering and the sacrifice that leads to Easter. 333

When I was 2 years old, I still coul not walk. One night, my dad was at adoration and told Jesus that he didn't want to talk to him, he wanted to talk to Mary. He asked Mary if there was any way if she could intervene and help me walk to please help. He then prayed the Rosary and went home. When he got home, my mom said "hey, watch this" and I walked in front of my dad.

i never have enough of the right words for things like these. just listen to this guy talking about discovering the holy rosary. for himself. when you genuinely pray the holy rosary you will have similar experiences. everything is true, every mystery, the whole entire bible, the life of Jesus Christ, his mother, all of it. it's all true. we need more guys like these who are willing to give God a chance through the most holy most powerful rosarian devotion. it's a literal miracle that we have it and a literal miracle that anyone who is willing can share in the mysteries & miracles of Our Lady the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. it's a hallelujiah thing it really is. i was going nowhere with my faith until the Mother of God herself stepped in & gently led me to praying the holy rosary every single day. what Fr. Rich says is absolutely true too, that we are a part of the mystery of salvation when we engage in the holy rosary we become part of not only our own salvation story but the salvation story of all mankind. it means we are necessary for the story to be complete!! like Ryan Scheel says it's a key from heaven. and Keith is right about the vain part. i have something to add on that, and it has to do with humility. our brains are designed by God for a purpose. we are not so powerful that we don't need help, or let's say, practice. when we say the Hail Mary in a uniform manner 1 after the other, it activates our brains, the way God made them because we aren't smart enough to not need the help. or the practice! unfortunately alot of the vain repetitions are coming from the protestant community. when they say 'father God' over & over and over again in a way trying to summon Him. and it isn't necessary to summon someone who is already there. what's important is humbling ourselves and surrendering to God by entering into the state of humility and asking God's Mother for help to come to Jesus. it acknowledges the full Holy Family which does in fact include His Mother. we can't do that on our own by any amount of vain pleading. the Rosary is a Gift to us & it's absolutely special in that when we pray the Holy Rosary, we are Unified in our Faith because we are all praying the same prayer. on the same day. as a Body of Believers. the Body of Christ. Catholics !!! :) and anyone can pray it !!! :) no wonder this guy is a frequently requested guest, he explains things very well !!! :) Fr. Calloway is another one they should have on here as he is also a huge advocate of Mary.

He bled for us in the garden. Before he was even struck he had already began atoning for our sins. His passion begins as he is bleeding through hematidrosis in the garden as he says "Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt."
