    _________________________________________________________
J.R. would like to thank the whole crew at All Expanded who really put this thing together. Especially Duncan and Keenan whose vision translated so well to the screen.
To AJ and Curtis... who put up with the cold, the wet, the long days. You guys made this video something truly special. Your talents are truly overwhelming.
And to the rest of the crew and cast, who basically worked for free. This would not have gotten off the ground without your efforts.
Thank you all so so so so much.

I ended up here trying to find out what this song is about because it’s been in my head FOR YEARS. Those two opening lines are so good they take by breath away. Thanks for this song.

This track has haunted me for days now. That awesome voice in pain...
You and that twangy Gretsch really deserve each other - both of you make beautiful southern gothic music like nobody else can. Nice use of a banjo for Bless Your Soul, love it.

Oh, when all of your ghosts in your dark hollow
All them move to whats holy in you
    Oh and Bless Your Soul
If your keeping time, aint hard if your blind
Just tap your feet to your prayers off beat
    Oh and Bless Your Soul
    Oh, Lord only knows
'Cause I, got all sorts of time
Yes I got all sorts of time
Oh, when all of your ghost in your dark hollow
All them move to whats holy in you
'Cuase your keeping time, aint hard if your blind
Just tap your feet of your prayers off beat
    Oh and BLESS YOUR SOUL
    Lord only knows
'Cause I, got all sorts of time
I got all sorts of time
Yes I got all sorts of time

I fucking love this song, though I'm really surprised that it has only 32k views. I really can't understand why this song is not popular.

I am seriously in awe of what you are creating artistically, Jonathan. You have to be my favourite musician around and the only other one was I inspired by to this degree was Patti Smith. Thanks for sharing your fabulous work.

Why artist called himself "Bones of J. R. Jhones"? What's the point?

    • @kbegemotHD
      @kbegemotHD 7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

I saw him some days earlier at a concert in Nuremberg, Germany. And after the gig this was the exact question a girl from the audience asked him. He said that "J.R." is the acronym for his own name, but there is no real meaning for it and laughed :) Very talented musician, very nice and funny guy.

Well.. even if he didn't mean anything... The bones are what gives us structure and we can't really see it. The bones can be an analogy about his art. It's inside of him, a crucial part of his being, and now he is presenting it to us.
