- This is the 20-minute semifinal race for the NOLA Cup Championship. I qualified 3rd but it was very quickly apparent that my kart was critically slow. A very poor performance in the race resulted in me starting near the back for the final. This was frustrating for me.
That little sucker who spun out in front of you pushed me off track at least 3 times.
I know at least one other person who had a problem with him too.
Yeah he’s got some more learning to do when it comes to traffic. I’m sure he’ll get better with age. Little guy looked pretty young.
@@chesterguidry yeah. I couldn’t be too mad at the kid. I might’ve done the same thing at 11-12 years old. 😆. Serves me right for starting from so far back.
I agree. There was a large discrepancy of speed and handling between most of those carts.
Not much else you could do out there with that kart disadvantage with other drivers pushing you out and racing incidents adding to your misery.
Yeah it was pretty bad... I was just trying to minimize the number of spots lost but wasn’t very successful.
@@chesterguidry Significantly lowered your chances at a podium with those large prizes. Did you and the others participating in this NOLA Cup format like this event more than the Light & Heavy league events done at NOLA every month?
@@LONEWOLF_1-B3 it’s was fun because of the number of people in the race. I liked having 4 separate sessions on race day. I wish the karts were closer in speed to one another. I wouldn’t mind the weight disadvantage if I knew we were all on equal karts.
