Hi, the quality of the video is fantastic, the car fits beautifully with this package and color, however, you can see that it goes hard to feel the bumps of the road due to the 18“ wheel with low profile tires, is it possible for this set of brakes to use 16” with a larger tire profile? Would you choose manual or automatic transmission? I would prefer a slightly lower cost of ownership and a manual transmission
@@Arto931 thank you very much for watching and your comment and Feedback. I beleive 16 inch is the minimum tire size you can fit on this skoda scala with the monte carlo package. However there is no longer a manual option i beleive only an automatic. I personally would also choose the automatic as it is more comfotable during daily commutes. Hoeever it can be somewhat jerky sometimes as it is the typical VAG DSG.
What about fuel economy? I have Scala 1.5 DSG 2019 model and it consumes around 8-9l/100km in the city (Berlin traffic). From my POV it’s too much. How is your experience?
@@piyushgaud4539 yes in the city with traffic it can consume a bit more fuel then it should but overall travelling on the autobahn at cruising speeds this car is in my opinion quite efficient. At slow Autobahn speeds we were able to.reach around 5.5 litres per 100km here is a link to our other video on our other channel with this car. At the end you will find the fuel economy and acceleration tests: th-cam.com/video/sqGPQ4AzbTw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=SR_J_r264vL77DQZ
Puuuh hard to choose.. i would maybe take the Kia just because it has slightly more power and sound. But it would be a hard pick. If this Skoda came with the 2.0 TSI and around 207 PS maybe like the Polo GTI i would choose this. But it is slightly underpowered for it's sporty looks.
