Great, hope you get into it. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to me. In my descriptions you can see where I trained and highly recommend them. Thanks for watching!
Hello Bob, I noticed in your video your lights. My boyfriend and I just purchased the Fly products Xenit with the Cosmo 300 from One Up Adventures. he is going to training with Travis, Kyle & Aly in July 2023. May I ask the name and location of the lights you use for your trike. Do you like them? How bright are the lights? Would you purchase them again?
Hey Jennifer, thanks for watching. Your boyfriend will be getting awesome training for sure! So I have one of the last trikes that One Up Adventures sold before the Cosmos engine and without the cockpit, it is Xenit Trike though with a Polini 303. I believe their new package the Cosmos already comes with a pretty good light kit from SkyFlar, but if not the strobes I have are Hunter Strobes and I have three of them. You can look at them here www.hunterstrobes.com . Yes I would purchase them again as well. Feel free to ask any other questions, be glad to help out.
Thanks for sharing the gaggle app. I just downloaded it. So.what phone mount are you using? The one I got vibrates like crazy and is unusable of my flash cruiser. Thanks ahead of time.
Thanks Mike, I will have to double check but I believe it is the RAM holder. I originally used it on my motorcycle. I believe I have the older version of this rammount.com/collections/motorcycle-phone-mounts/products/ram-b-149z-un7u# Mine is probably close to 10 years old now, you can see it on some of my original motorcycle vlogs. Thanks for the sub too!
I’m incredibly curious about your phone mount, I’m a new trike pilot and use the app and love your setup! Being new and the cost of phones I’m incredibly nervous about pulling my phone out. Thanks for any info you could share on the phone mount and safe flying
Jason, thanks so much for watching and the sub. I get a lot of questions about that mount. It is actually an old motorcycle mount that I bought for riding before I was ever flying. If you look up RAM motorcycle phone mounts I am sure you can find something similar. I have had a few people tell me that it can cause too much vibration and damage the phone but I have been using it for about 8 years now, two for flying and haven't had any issues and probably been through two phones in that time.
It was free when it first came out but now to open all the features and I paid to be able to see other planes and some other options. I think you can still do a free basic option but not sure.
Thanks! Yes I noticed it in the video as well but think I was going so fast on the way back (when I did the demos) that I was having fun watching the ground go by and wasn't really feeling any oscillations, if I was feeling them I would have dampend them. I am guessing with the wind behind me and slightly to my left it was probably causing them.
I believe you can use it free for so long, I did, but now I do pay. You can put in way points and navigate when you are just flying. You can’t see those waypoints unless you are specifically navigating to them. When using Flyskyhy, you can see the way points you’ve entered in any time you’re flying as long as you have not deleted them.
It is the Davinci Duet 34m. Been a good wing for me so far, only other I can compare it to right now is the Ozone Mojo and when I switched to this one it was like night and day, easier to come up overhead and very easy to fly. Not much trim range though.
Hermoso video ❤
Gracias!
Looked like a nice flight. Glad for Spring and sunshine and longer days.
Yes, finally!!
I’m in Hickory, looking to get started in this. Great info thanks

Great video! I am on the fence with Gaggle and FlySkyHy though. Gotta watch more videos of both I suppose...Loved your flight though!
Thanks I appreciate you watching!
Nice gaggle of a flight. Blue Skies and Safe Landings.
Thanks Bob hope you are back in the air soon!

Hello buddy
Nice nice video
I thought the app was free?
You have to pay? To unlock all the options?
Thanks

Does Gaggle allow navigation with waypoints? Is it FREE like PPGPS?

I don't use gaggle because it was to expensive and also the font/visibility was to bad. I could not read my speed.
I can read mine OK but I get what you are saying, I think FlySkyHy is easier to read for sure.
