if we piece everything togther whiteglint just sink and there is no confirmation of the pilot death so imo the leader of the Reaper squad was the Whiteglint pilot just got older
@@dodogamus1926 not exactly, the events of AC Verdict Day take place at least 100 years give or take after AC 5, with bits and pieces of lore, such as the Spirit of Motherwill level and N-WG/IX hinting at this being the same timeline as AC 4 and AC For Answer, which is likely centuries after the bad ending where Strayed (player) went on a rampage and shot down all the Cradles. (Which adds to the theory that the towers everyone in ACVD are fighting over are actually the Cradles which house NEXT technology from the ACFA era with N-WG/IX being a cobbled together, shoddy NEXT made with that same tech.)

If anything Whiteglint NEXT is most definitely the final boss. As like you said it sank. Never recovered. So someone somewhere definitely grabbed it and it became this thing
