I wanted to play rogue this season, played witch and some sorc in 1.0. Just now cracking open the LE book for Rogue skills, gear, and am stoked to hear there's lots of fun to explore in 1.1. I'm looking forward to see what multishot builds you cook up. Definitely disappointed that they gutted direct Det Arrow. Puncture (and your spear puncture you teased for falconer) has me super intrigued.

Pretty sure they removed the trap interraction from Jelkhor now. It said so when I read it yesterday on the item at least plus the detonating arrow change make it seems like the build is DOA now.
Is it silly to use shadow cascade in shadow daggers blade dancer? If not, is it a waste to include sync strike since the daggers node in shadow cascade only has 20% from shadows? I'm trying to draft a build that starts out with puncture shadow daggers, add umbral blades, then shadow cascade, both adding more daggers. Then shift and sync strike, and if I don't like puncture I'll drop for smoke bomb defenses and maybe more daggers +/- cleanse and silver shroud.
@@Syncopation24 no its absolutely not silly to use shadow cascade with it. Especially combined with sync strike to generate 5 shadows you can shotgun with the shadow daggers from shadow cascade. Im also using it in my shadow daggers bladedancer video.
@@trikster08 Awesome, thanks for the help! One other question, I was just leveling/testing and Umbral Blades Explosive Blades node is not triggering stacks of shadow dagger. I can't find anything in the patch notes about it. Am I missing something?

I've never played Dancing Strikes and just now looking it up and as it's a bit of a weird skill I'm not sure how to evaluate the new node that procs Shadow Strike. Do you think there's potential there?
I honestly dont think that the 100% shadow cascade proc on dancing strike is useful. Its only on first attack. Maybe to use shadow cascade for support (frailty, increased phys dmg), but not as main dmg dealer. You are better with Sync Strike (5 shadows out) and then overlapping all 5 shadow cascades. I see Dancing Strikes more with shadow daggers...as always for bladedancer :)
@@viniciushideki7648 its actually not dead. There are new boots that can proc additional UBs for dex scaling. Also just simply go with explosion node in UB tree and the build is saved
Rhythm was trash because of the low 2s buff duration, was so easy to miss the buff when you miss any attack for positioning of whatever. Online must be a joke.

As long as they don't make dancing strikes apply more bleed / poison based on your attack speed, the skill will be forever a meme for any on-hit DoT builds. Sadly enough, the whole thing with the skill is just to apply shadow daggers, it just doesn't function as a stand-alone skill due to its design. Which is quite sad as it's supposed to be the "core" bladedancer skill. I was really hoping that they'd address melee a bit in 1.1, but it looks to be the exact same as in 1.0. Guess all our melee hopes lie with PoE 3.25 and PoE2

@@VanToldsted the interaction and actual DA proc still works. Its only the flat dmg on jelkhor that is on direct melee use now and not with traps

How is the Bleed Falconer actually? I'm leveling falconeer and I'm between SD and Bleed for HC, wich one is b etter ion terms of survavility?
Hard to say because i didnt play bleed falconer.
Thats something you need to ask volca or mcfluffin because i only know SD

No it got nerfed to hell. Other Falconer builds should be ok, but SD Falconer is dead.
