Oye mi amigo me metí en un problema mi hijo le cambio la banda del tiempo a un Lexus 3.0 pero no aseguró los cam shaf y no le quédo a tiempo y dobló las válvulas de la cabeza ya consiguió otra cabeza pero no sabemos cómo alinear el tiempo otra bes nos podrás ayudar con un consejo como aserlo
I was boutta say the same thing. Although im struggling with timing the vvt gear. Does it matter if the gear is all the way to the left or the right? As long as the cams are both at tdc it should be okay right?
@@jhonnycornejo5471 the timing marks on the pulleys “with the line” not the ones “with the dot” should match up with the notches on the black rear cover behind the pulleys.. the vvti gear, once you lock it down should still have about 30 degrees of movement, so you need to make sure it is all the way clockwise, then the line should be at the mark on the cover, this is assuming you did put the cam shaft for the pulleys at TDC, you never want to move the cams once you have TDC and removed the pulleys ok.

No washer behind the idler pulley and your timing marks are the left notches not the right bro..
