In fact, without supporters or defenders, damage roles wouldn't get far. Especially if the enemy team has their own supporters or defenders. So every role is equally as important. No need to be jealous of a different role.
It's design is just terrible, does way to much damage for its mobility and heals with a high damage move. If they want to nerf luca, they need to nerf his ability and e speed.
I do like 2-1-2 it has great early game pressure and late game potential. (Top layers shaking will be punished and that will slow the early game of them)
These days if I lose a match its because of Zapdos. Like you said its a coin toss. At the same time I’ve won matches that I should not have because of Zapdos so lol.
I think 1-1-3 for first dred is still too good to not do. After that a 2-1-2 is definitely better but at that point everyone is kinda roaming, farming xp, defending and pushing tier 2s so laning gets a lot more chaotic.

Yo Dave... I think u should try Wiggly and Snorlax bot lane to address the issue. Snorlax can secure every objective early game with tackle and Wiggly can always assist Snorlax out of danger with Sing... Hope u consider and try my strat.
The clause is that they can't use any other pokemon apart from what they're using, and if they can't snowball they can't win. 2-1-2 isn't that great if you arem't using this specific comp in 5 stacks. Unlike their 1-2-3 Venu, Gardevior and Machamp strat that absolutely destroys teams unless they get a lucky Zapdos and can comeback easily knowing how broken those 3 Pokemons can be.
What if pikachu was hoopa instead. Defensivelyit could be better especially if you can tp teamates for backup and hoopa still has good cc like pika when shadow ball is available
I get why so many top tier teams do the 1-1-3 strategy but in my eyes it was made for dreadnaw execution but now with the large emphasis on Rotom I personally don't see thr point in running it. Yes first dreadnaw is important for the exp lead but if you run two top and are able to take down the top tier and then push in Rotom you are worlds ahead of what only a first dread would get you 🤷♂️
I disagree with the "1st Rotom outweighs 1st Dred" part. Pushing in Rotom at best give 2 of your team an EXP lead due to scoring, and at most gives you a 39-point overdunk at top T1 goal. While that *may* psychologically provide pressure due to the points lead, IMO it's still not "worlds ahead of a first dred".
1st dread sits above all. It can do the same thing the 1st rotom does and more. After 1st dread, you can win the teamfight and destroy bottom goal. This happens so often…
1st rotom is near useless unless you get 1st Drednaw, especially in solo que. And if you do get it you better be in the lead, because max 80 points from having 2 at top is heavily outweighed by the instant level up everyone gets from Drednaw.

If u ask me, Lucario just need one more proper tweak honestly. I think the biggest issue here is Extreme speed - If you're a pro at dashing this skill deals way too much damage and gives a lot of mobility. It's damage is one factor here. Plus, when you have bone rush+ you can reset the dash again to get away or maybe even dive the enemy backlines easily chipping a huge portion of their health. Not to mention this is really strong in competitive play. And regarding Gardevoir, future sight does in fact need a nerf because of that damage but at the very least it does have a short delay allowing you to escape (if the enemy doesn't opt for moonblast that is)
2-1-2 op my teammates when i go to top to defend the goal zone:we go to bottom 😅 My teammates always leaves me alone in any lane and then we have 1-0-4 or sometimes 3-0-2

first dread is important coz it helps ur team to level and reach their unite moves first. after that its fine depending how the game goes
