I think it depends on the tribe. Some practice burning sage, others don't. Some use dream catchers, some don't. Either way, it's widely recognized as a closed practice.
Also just to add on to the Wicca question, Wicca is a religion that practices witchcraft for religious purposes. You can be a witch without practicing Wicca, but in order to be a Wiccan you need to practice the religion.

yes use incense, love! just avoid white sage incense :) you can smoke cleanse with literally anything else (lavender bundles, rosemary bundles, candle smoke, tobacco, etc) there are other ways to cleanse too if you don’t wanna smoke cleanse! So I'm just now starting my own spiritual journey after being raised JW my whole life. I was told to use white sage to get rid of a dark spirit that may be following me since childhood. My mothers side are Native American based in Mexico, we have yet to find the specific tribe, and my fathers side is from Spain. Would I be okay to use white sage? Or is there any suggestion since idk which tribe specifically?

He tried to take me out because he knew what awaited me the same thing that awaits you the love of God the salvation of our souls! Jesus laid down his life for you and me so that we can have life in him our sins are forgiven through Christ by the shedding of his blood he paid the price so that we don’t have to why because He loves you! White sage isn’t a closed practice🤍
So I'm just now starting my own spiritual journey after being raised JW my whole life. I was told to use white sage to get rid of a dark spirit that may be following me since childhood. My mothers side are Native American based in Mexico, we have yet to find the specific tribe, and my fathers side is from Spain. Would I be okay to use white sage? Or is there any suggestion since idk which tribe specifically?
I personally believe it's okay to use white sage for what ever practice you wish to, we are constantly learning things from different cultures and bringing them together in different ways, if sage is used to cleanse that's okay, if it's used to help connect with spirits that's okay, if it's for both that's okay, if you just like burning it that's also okay, we shouldn't gate keep practices like this unless it is directly harmful to other

Y’all new age spirituality is not It I’m being so serious I almost killed my self due to the circumstances of me looking for truth, purpose, destiny, identity, love, peace I mean you name it I was looking for it but in the wrong places in a corrupt and fallen world that can’t in no way define love nor fulfill your soul. As I was getting deeper and deeper into new age (spirituality) I had what I thought at the time was a spiritual awakening but was truly demonic oppression, torment, and possession I was left so empty, depressed, hopeless, lonely full of fear and anxiety, I couldn’t even sleep at night there were even voices in my head telling me to take my life. If it weren’t for the grace of God through Jesus Christ the God of the universe I would be a goner I would have taken my life satan was after my soul through this deception of his, and it’s crazy because I thought “this is what I’ve been looking for all along” but even satan disguises him self as a being of light and he introduces things such as this that are so intriguing to us us to keep us from knowing the God of the universe! He tried to take me out because he knew what awaited me the same thing that awaits you the love of God the salvation of our souls! Jesus laid down his life for you and me so that we can have life in him our sins are forgiven through Christ by the shedding of his blood he paid the price so that we don’t have to why because He loves you! I actually thank Jesus that he allowed me to stumble upon spirituality because it led me straight to him! He saved my soul and my soul found exactly WHO it was looking for!
