One of my goals for 2022 is to do a ‘low buy’ so this is perfect! Gives me a chance to really think about whether I genuinely want something or if it’s just a spur of the moment decision
I had planned to stick to the rule '21 items in 2021', but I failed. I bought 36 pieces of clothing, added some accessories, replaced some shoes and underwear... It didn't helped the fact that this year was quite exhausting for me, I have worked and earned more than ever, gained some weight, I was browsing through a lot of online shopping sites as a way to relax and cope with stress. A lot can change in one year. For the next year I'm planning to set an allowed budget for clothing - 5 % of my monthy income - and we will see how that goes. It's so easy to overbuy isn't it? I wanted to buy less this year and counted up recently and was shocked to realise I'd bought over 50 items! It doesn't seem like much at the time but it really adds up. Looking forward to doing this with you!
What a great idea! I am going to adapt this, I watch you for inspiration but I make all of my own clothes and I finish up with so many things that I want to make, so much fabric and so many patterns! Yes, it is getting out of hand! I am going to adapt it to my lifestyle. Thank you for doing this video and I will follow you with interest.
I did a wardrobe reset this year myself! I chose to get rid of clothing in synthetic fibres and purchased more pieces in cotton, merino wool, cashmere and so on. It has been a game changer and I am now loving my wardrobe. I even reassessed my shoes and handbags! For 2022, I am planning a no buy for clothes! I feel I can do this now as I am happy with my wardrobe. I do however, have 2 things I would like to save for and buy. One is a pair of boots for the winter and the other is a high end handbag. I will save for these and buy when I have the money. I am excited for this challenge and I hope you do well with yours 😊
I found the same thing, I could never justify lots of polyester and acrylic now! I think that's a great idea. Having those two well thought out purchases will hopefully prevent impulse purchases. Hope it goes well for you!

I started mine this year through etsy I don't have a whole dream wardrobe yet but I got some good pieces might add some to it next year
