    Another excellent small portable boat video. I look forward to your sail experiment. I will be posting videos on the little intex 300 inflatable you may be interested in. I like your coroplast building method with foam. Very original and smart. I am a happy subscriber.😊

      Thanks for your feedback. I am lucky, it turned out to be a good utility boat. But this is my 5th try in building a pontoon boat that is good enough for me to keep. 😀 Thanks for your support!. Looking forward to your intex inflatable video. I am always looking for low cost, usable designs and solutions.

      Thanks for watching and kind feedback. I am modifying that boat to increase the deck space, add a fish finder, and accessories for fishing. Will share a video on the changes. Cheers!😀

      @@DIYUSA cool, that was the same thing in my mind to possibly widen it up a little then add a paddle drive

      Thanks for watching. It is my favorite boat at this moment 😀I will keep improving it. I will add a paddle drive, trolling motor, fish pole holder to it.

    New visitor here:
    I have designed a few catamaran boats for robotics uses but they hold about 400-500 lbs so they can be manned as well. While doing this I have created several variations of electric motors. I wonder if one would be useful on your boat too? I will test them more and maybe send you details to try it. They of course ate DIY..

      Thanks for sharing what you have done. I am really interested in the catamarans. You have built some cool planes. I have used the robotics motor to drive this pontoon boat. The result turned out really good. I need to modify the cooling so the power controller will not be overheated. The video series in building that motor drive is here th-cam.com/play/PL2ShZzOUu01vwf6AHzcLilK-yQTahRV1r.html
      I appreciate if you can share your motor testing info on your channel. Cheers!

    Does the making glue out of styrofoam after it’s been in Acetone any good in your opinion? Love your channel ❤

      Thanks for your support and asking a good question. Sorry, I don't have experience in making glue and I do know the answer. Thanks.

    What density of foam have you used ??

    • @DIYUSA
      @DIYUSA  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for your question. The density of the foam I used is a sheet of 4’x8’x2” thick weighs 10 Lbs. It is XPS rigid foam from Owens Corning and it absorbs minimal amount of water. You can download the product data sheet here: dcpd6wotaa0mb.cloudfront.net/mdms/dms/EIS/43522/43522-FOAMULAR-250-XPS-Insulation-Product-Data-Sheet.pdf?v=1664703006000
