I love seeing what you are up to. I would read the Feelings book with my daughter too. It’s so great for them to be able to talk with Mom about those things. We really enjoy TGTB science units too. It’s nice to just sprinkle them in since they are pricey when you buy all of the fun add-ons. 😊
If you are enjoying novel studies you might really love Literary Adventures For Kids. My neurodivergent kids are having a blast with it, highly engaged and I would say it’s been one of my most fun homeschool additions. It’s not too much not too little, the videos picks are engaging and my kids look forward to all of the rabbit trails I was really surprised how well it has been going.
For math have you tried Kumon books for struggle skills? I think I have that feelings book. My daughter also loves Evan moor for practice. It’s like 5 questions. My daughter with ADHD has struggled with feelings and emotions lately.
Math is a really hard one for kids who struggle. I have yet to find “the one” for my special needs twins. MathUSee worked for a while. Looking into Denison for them as they hopefully start 9th grade next school year. For my first grader right now we are using math with confidence and I love how it teaches but it’s so overwhelming for me as a teacher. With six kids I am not sure if I can keep going with it. Possibly looking into BJU math as they offer a video led option. Have you ever tried BJU math???
@@beachgurl788 i plan to have my daughter use Denison for when we get to pre algebra. We use CLE math right now with my 3rd grader that I’m going to guess has ADHD as she’s showed signs. We used math mammoth at first but she wasn’t retaining all concepts so we needed more of a spiral approach. She loves Evan moor daily and 180 days we don’t mind.
@@BrewerhomeschoolThank you for the ideas!!! Never tried CLE math. We prefer spiral math too! The Denison math looks sooo good and I appreciate that it is made specifically for kids who struggle because of learning challenges!!! I am hoping it works well for my special needs twins so they can get the credits they need for math!!!
@@blessedhomeschoolmessHi! I wanted to apologize. I totally get being in a tight budget and should have known better than to bring up about an expensive curriculum. After talking to my husband we can’t afford BJU. Math has been a big struggle in our house with my older twins with special needs so I really don’t have any good math ideas. Math is hard!!!😞

Kate snow math with confidence is the only math that worked for my daughter, it uses manipulatives and breaks it down in game style learning
@@meganc5113 we didn’t like it sadly

@@beachgurl788 bju was too much money for me for videos
