- This week I have my dude Zach from @MythosPedals @DippedInTone and most recently, High Voltage Guitars on the show this week. Zach has been on the podcast a few different times, but he has had so much new stuff happening that I had to have him back on for another round.
Specifically, we get into the how and why behind him starting Nashville's newest guitar retail shop, High Voltage Guitars.
In a place with great shops seemingly everywhere, why did Zach start this store? What's the idea behind it? What makes this guitar store different?
We get into all of that, and a WHOLE lot more on this episode of The Tone Mob Podcast.

Yes. They do need another guitar store. My favorite is Carter Vintage. I wish there were more stores like there were in the 80s. I just came back from Japan, and they have guitar stores all over the place. Several next to each other on the same streets. It was epic. I wish it was like that here.
I think everywhere needs another guitar store, but I’m a little biased.
(Was that an amp pun? Yes. Yes it was.)
Watching this while i string up my partscaster with some Husky’s ❤
Perfect string changing banter 🤘
You know when you've listened to Delilah on the radio forever, then finally see a picture of who she is IRL and 🤯? Same same..., only for Blake Wyland! 😂 I'm now refactoring my mental model and will continue to listen (and watch) to fill in the picture. You do a great job. Thanks! 🙏❤
I’ve gotten that a lot over the years. 😂😂😂 Thanks for listening/watching!
Yes, Nashville needs another guitar store. There are only a handful of places that have decent gear. It’s a music town. It should have a dozen good shops.
The more the better! 🎉
Have you been to Nashville? What are some of your favorite spots?
New stuff? Corner Music. Interesting/weird stuff? Eastside Music. Vintage stuff for real musicians? Carter's. Investment grade blue chip instruments for dentists and lawyers? Gruhn.
