This was released in 1971. CCR’s debut album was 1968. Lots of great songs: Proud Mary, Who’ll Stop the Rain, Born on the Bayou, Fortunate Son and outstanding covers of Susie Q and I Heard it Through the Grapevine. Thanks!

Top 40 radio insisted on short singles so the could say they play more music per hour than their loco rival. That changed with The Stones & Beatles. They were so popular stations had to play their singles.
