Hi Marissa! I just watched your video here and it sounds good! I had recently met a lady in Cebu online. We appear to want to move forward to have each other. So, it sounds like based on what you state on your video I should plan a trip to go to the Philippines and meet her in person. Take plenty of pictures of us together and family members there as well. Hi good morning. According to observation, fiancée Visa is faster than spousal visa. Before I came over in 2018, there were 2 applicants I talked to for spousal visa and they said their application ran for 2 years already. And they were waiting for their interview at that time when I had my interview schedule. So spousal visa I guess is slower than fiancée . Thank you.

Hi good evening. With my experience, it’s faster to have fiancée or K1 petition and get married here in the US. When you marry in the Philippines, the process takes longer because Adjustment of Status will be processed at the same time, so when your Filipina comes in the US, she is eligible to work and do other things. I am a United States citizen. In late June of 2019 I first went over to the Philippines to meet someone I knew from Facebook. Came back after 30 days. Went back to the Philippines again in late September of 2019 for a longer period. She got pregnant, and as of now we have a three-year-old daughter who turns four in August 2024. Have been back to the Philippines two more times, in September-October of 2022 and then just recently in March-April-May of 2024.
My main question is how easy is it or what do I need to do to be able for them to live over in the United States? Do we need to get married or officially become engaged? Would it be the k1 visa you are referring to? She also has three lovely teenage daughters, but don't know if that is possible. Just want to concentrate on girlfriend and our daughter for now.
Hi good evening. If you want to bring them here, you have to file for K1 Visa. You can actually start filing now as long as you are ready with the requirements. With regard to the three teenage girls of your girlfriend, you can also include them in your petition as K2, because your own kid is automatically a US citizen already, that’s out of question. Thank you very much for your reply, dear. I do not even know if bringing her other three teenage daughters (ages 19, 17, 15) over here is feasible, simply because I probably cannot afford it. The 19 year old would LOVE to come over here because her dream is to go to college here. Actually, all three would probably love it here. I decided I just cannot live in the Philippines climate. Have been there four times, and it kills me every time. Even though we built a home there, I cannot do it. I tried, plus I underestimated my small early retirement income. I am 62. Girlfriend is 42. They are living in Bohol now; at the house we built in the past two years plus. I bet they would all like it over here. I definitely always miss them, especially my little girl who also highly misses daddy. We had a good eight week bonding experience recently.

Hi. The paperwork is not expensive but the payment for the visa and all is more expensive like more than a grand maybe.

After meeting in person, with all the pictures and everything you can file the petition for K1 visa and it takes 6 months to 1 year before the petition is approved.

Hi. Good evening. If you’re married in the Philippines, you will apply for a spousal visa. Marriage in the Philippines does not give you the easy way to bring your Filipino wife here in the US. You still have to undergo a process like the fiancée Visa but yours is Spousal which takes a longer period of time. Thank you.
