Awesome! Take in consideration that the water have a lower density than the milk and this is why the temperature rose up to 42 in your experiment. If it was a milk you tested I believe it will be around 37 degrees. But the problem with the warming up time will remain the same in both cases, i mean, it’ll take longer than 3 minutes to reach the ideal temperature.
Nice an honest review, thank you!

Not the case, we are warming up formula with ours and the temperature is also rising above 42 celsius. Not good. It actually gets hot like Mike says and if you don't test, you can pretty much hurt your baby. Not cool Phillips.

Thanks for the feedback! And very interesting tip. I'm curious to see if that's the case, we don't have any more breastmilk to try it with, but I'll do it with some regular whole milk and see if it warms up differently than water :)

What alternative warmer did you decide to use?

We use the MyBambini's bottle warmer - it's a great portable one and we take it everywhere we go.
For home we also have the Baby Brezza Formula Advanced pro, which is a really convenient, but quite expensive option.
Shameless plug - check out the reviews of both the products on my channel if you're interested :)
