i love drawing but i hate painting i always seem to eff it up especially watercolor because it blends with the other colors to make a very interesting blacky brown color

Your wonderful about telling what colors you are using. But I don't have a problem with my color mixing. I need more direction as to how much water your using on your brush, those simple sounding, yet important things that are often left out completely. I love to watercolor, and this is beautiful. But it comes off to me more as a "Hey, look at how great I am at painting" rather than a "Let me help you paint like me" video. All I hear is about your colors. It's still nice advice. But a bit obvious sometimes. And everyone has different brands of watercolors. They don't always use the same names. I know burnt umber and hookers green are usually in every package, but they vary wildly now-a-days. Just an example.

try some pastels - they are LIKE drawing but really its a painting. this practice will help you to start seeing like an artist
