I was told by an employee at a local Sea Doo dealership that its illegal to have a Swim Deck attached to a Switch Sport Compact -- Is that True or can that be a State Law (Louisiana)?? Also does anyone make an extension to attach to the Canopy for the front of the Boat??.
My double Bimini collapsed on us yesterday bc those cheap green plastic clips broke on our second trip! Submitted complaint to Sea-doo!

Great clip
Overall feedback is folks hate yalls Bimini top because it folds forward and not backwards. They say to go under low bridges it folds onto passengers so its not ideal. Or to take it down while under way. Sometimes you want sun on the boat. One person said he was going to remove it and go with a traditional universal type Bimini top. It is however very sturdy and easy to operate. It also looks great.

@@Seadoo your welcome . Two things are killing the launch of the switch.
One y’all are not shipping them out in order they where ordered . All over the country from Indians to Florida so many folks have gotten there boats that ordered months after I did . Common thing for others who ordered before those getting there boats.
2. You need to add a battery cut off switch .
Y’all have something draining the battery and so many have been left stranded at the dock or in the water . Y’all need to figure out that issue quick because it’s effecting a ton of new switch owners .
I went from 6 months worse case scenario to now close to a year and still no boat .
That’s not cool . You should have just told us it would be year .
Under promise and over deliver is key .

If y’all don’t give us at least two accessories for half off it will be a slap in the face and tell us seadoo does not respect our time. Y’all need to do something to make up for the lack of communication on y’all’s part .
I've seen these complaints about the top as well and I agree. I seen a video of a switch owner who purchased a 3rd part top off Amazon to fix this issue. I will mostly wait a couple years to get one of these to see if they change this design as I don't think it's appropriate to have to spend more money to fix a poor design.
@@jam471975 It’s not that bad . Took her out for the first time today . We only ride with the Bimini up . If we need sun you can set upfront . You just have to enter the boat from the rear ladder to open the Bimini before you depart the dock . You can’t really enter the boat from the front with the top down . Not the end of the world .
If you live in a area that you have to go under a ton of bridges it’s not gonna be ideal .
Other than that it was solid .
And it looks rad vs the cheap Amazon ones .
Agreed. Was strongly considering the switch but that Bimini folding forward.. ugh... cmon guys.
Poor job Seadoo, still heavy for older folks
buy the lift struts sold on aftermarket.
