  • On Wednesday night, May 10, 1972, 41-year-old law lecturer at the University of Adelaide, Dr. George Duncan, was thrown into the River Torrens, allegedly by members of the South Australian Police Vice Squad, and drowned, in an act of anti-gay violence.
On July 30, 1985, in an interview with The Advertiser newspaper, ex-vice squad officer Mick O'Shea claimed there had been a police cover-up to protect their own.
On February 5, 1986, three ex-vice squad officers; Brian Hudson, Michael Clayton & Francis Cawley, were charged with Duncan's manslaughter.
On October 28, 1986, the charge against Brian Hudson was dismissed.
On September 30, 1988, Francis Cawley and Michael Clayton were acquitted after a trial.
This was filmed on location on May 10, 2022, the 50th anniversary of Dr. Duncan's murder.
