It was a huge disappointment when BoatUS stopped interfacing with Garmin/DeLorme Inreach devices. Those of us who fish offshore, far away from any cell signal, used that to communicate with tow services, but for some reason, it stopped. I have a VHF, but one is limited to about 15 miles with that. It would be a great service to your members if you began using satellite communicators again. Thanks

Does this work with no phone signal???

Thanks for the great question, James. You will need to have a phone signal or Wi-Fi connection to use the TowBoatUS Connect feature to call for a tow.

@@boatus OK - Important for users on Lake Mohave to know... if you go out of Katherine Landing, and beyond the power lines, you have NO SIGNAL and i'd strongly recommend boaters have a VHF Radio on board to be on the safe side ;) 2-300 bucks will buy you an awesome one ;)

@@jamesharding2028 Really great point, James! We always recommend having a VHF aboard. Folks with a towing membership can always hail the local TowBoatUS port on Channel 16.

Is this no longer working? We needed a tow today and just got an error page at the end. No help.

Hi @StephanieCorley. Thank you for letting us know about the issues you had. This is extremely troublesome, and we are determined to find and fix the problem. We hope you and your family are safe and you were able to get in contact with your local TowBoatUS port using a different method. We would like to reach out to you to get some further info, but we are unable to find you in our system. Can you let us know whose name the membership is under so we can have a towing representative reach out to you?

We have searched everywhere and can't find any emails from you. Could you reach out to us at membership@boatus.com? The team members who monitor that mailbox are aware of your situation and are anxious to get in touch with you. If you could share your member number with them, it would be very helpful, though is not required. (You can find it in the App under the membership tab.)
