The BJP expelled its party spokesperson, Nupur Sharma for making "derogatory remarks" against the prophet, which was actually in retort to the derogatory remarks made by a senior muslim panelist on Hindus' deity, Lord Shiva! Btw, for your very very kindest of information, whatever Nupur Sharma said is actually true and she actually quoted from one of the authentic hadees, which muslims themselves deem it as true and correct! So what was so "derogatory" in this? Zakir Naik and many islamic scholars too have affirmed what Nupur Sharma stated! Navin Jindal was also expelled from the party for similar reasons...but you chose only to refer to the Nupur Sharma episode one sidedly without referring to that muslim gentleman who foul mouthed against Lord Shiva! I understand that Nupur Sharma commented on the documented FACT that the Muslim "prophet" Mohammad married a 6-year-old child and consummated this marriage when she turned 9 years old. This fact is put into practice in Muslim countries such as Yemen where it is common for pre-pubescent children to be married to older men. I understand that in Iran, young girls are made to wear the hijab at 9 years of age as a reflection of Mohammad's consummated marriage to his 6-year-old bride Aisha. There is a book written by Nujood Ali with Delphine Minoui titled "I Am Nujood, Age 10 and Divorced. It describes how this Yemeni child was forced to marry a man 3 times her age and subsequently repeatedly raped and beaten prior to her divorce. I am disappointed that India's BJP does not support Nupur and her comments. I am also disappointed that Nupur lacked the backbone to stand up for the truth of her comment(s). Most Muslims are willingly ignorant about the teachings of the Quan and hadiths about Mohammad. Islam is a very violent and misogynistic ideology and must be confronted for what it stands for.
