I'll die on the hill that him and Jordan Lynch should have won the Heisman and both would have been NFL stars in the modern eras.
The worst thing about Klein is that the scouts don’t understand: it doesn’t matter how he throws, does the ball find the target
his style of throwing was more old school how he would keep his feet closer together and keep the ball up toward his neck the release over the top. his release was a little slow but he had some velocity on those throws and yeah he was accurate when he was locked in!!
Bill Synder was a great coach who recruited great players which made K State a great football team. My cousin was a kicker under Synder, he told me it was the best football he played and that he cried when coach Snyder retired.
Great video Blake as a TCU fan. I remember watching Collin Klein and was like wow this kid can play and at a high level too he never backed down from anything he had much toughness and grit he was well respected and well recognized in the Big 12 and throughout his years playing college football.

A guy by the name of Robert Griffin III was the qb for Baylor, and when Baylor came to KSU Griffin was at the helm of an incredible season in which he had thrown zero interceptions and a lot of touchdowns.
Arthur Brown, a prolific and talented linebacker for Kansas State at the time, made the first interception on Griffin for that year in that game. I had to leave the game because I had to get to work, but was in the stadium for the first three quarters and part of the fourth. Got to watch Collin race down the sideline for 70 yards as well as see the fore mentioned interception live! Was so badass!!!!

He was so cold. Was at that Baylor game when they upset K-state which completely ruined his heisman hopes
The year Kansas State and Oregon should have played in the natty. Both undefeated with one to go and lost. Then Oregon throttled K-State in the Fiesta Bowl
Worst part as a k state fan is if we just beat baylor we avoid the two best teams in the country and get to play a very beatable Notre dame school in the natty

It kinda sucks that the Wildcats got spanked by Baylor that season cuz K-State vs. Notre Dame would’ve probably been the best BCS NCG of any of the 2012 possibilities. My prediction is ND would’ve won 20-17 in a defense-heavy overtime thriller.

The only reason why he didn't win the heisman is because he wasn't in the SEC. I wish he wouldn't have retired so early I think under the right system he would've been successful and at the top of his game right now.

Honestly what happened to Northern Illinois Jordan Lynch? He was a really great collegiate quarterback just like Collin Klein was, it's sad because they could have been really great in the NFL. I just wish that both could have had that same success that they had in college translate the same way into the NFL.

I mean he played in the most offense friendly conference in the country. And he played a WVU team that had a defense that would make this years Cheifs defense look like the Steel Curtain. Klein was a great runner but not a heisman winner. Manziel had similar stats while playing better teams

Offense shines in the Big 12 when they play against one another but statistics have shown over the years that when they play out of conference they usually hold teams below their average offense efficiency, yards, and points.

@@losangelescardinals Not true. It's just the style of play that causes high scores. Look at all the B12 vs SEC games recently. OU put up 54 on UGA, and beat OSU 31-16.
Danny Hall okay but Ohio State has struggles on offensive in the early part of that year (2017). Also Oklahoma lost that game against Georgia in large part because their defense couldn’t tackle. My argument isn’t who’s good on offensive, it’s that the conference overall as a whole sucks on defense
@@losangelescardinals If that was the case than why do Big 12 teams still put up a lot on other conferences. They don't have the talent the SEC/ACC has on defense, but their defenses don't suck. It's just a different style of play. Lots of deep shots, lots of possessions, makes a lot of points. If you look at the defensive FPI, the Pac-12 actually has the worst defense top to bottom(P5), Big 12 has best FPI offense

charles butler trust me when I say that 2012 was the season I watched the most. Klein was pretty awesome, no doubt and I like Kansas state. But Johnny football and a&m as a whole we’re just wayyyyy better
