Some people are saying Rajiv Malhotra is better than Devdutt Pattnaik, but he is just a part of Hindutva politics.Rajiv Malhotra wants to come in limelight and sell his books so he is doing politics against devdutt pattnaik.Religious scriptures are written by humans, you agree or not. I also do not fully endorse Devdutt Pattnaik because he misleads sometimes but Rajiv Malhotra is not saint. He is like Sadhguru, having a toxic fanbase. The problem is Rajiv gives a single interpretation of hinduism and imposes it to be true, a part of hindutva politics. However, hinduism has been open for various interpretation for ages. Devdutt gives an alternative persoective of hinduism, which i like, unlike the rigid conservative conventional ones, the favourite of hindutva lobbies to oppress free speech of secular and neutral hindus.
Magic and mythology are fiction, don't be disillusioned by blind faith and superstition.Just take what good mythology has to offer.
